The President had no formal appearances today, but in a 98-0 decision, nominee Michael Chertoff was confirmed as the new Secretary of Homeland Security by the Senate. President Bush signed a declaration that Ohio is a major disaster area due to a severe ice storm, heavy snow flooding and mudslides (it's still a mess here!). First Lady Laura Bush spoke today at the 2005 Community College National Legislative Summit in Washington.
The Dems are on the run and losing ground. It's a GREAT Day to be a Bushbot, so ENJOY your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose!!

Especially one who is deeply in love . . . with his OWN wife!Why, the very thought of it! Doesn't he know that hip people sleep around with anything that breathes. Worse, the man is a devote Christian. He's even driving the Dims to try to calibrate a pretend-to-be religious message for the red states. What is the world coming to?!

The best thing about MSNBC giving a loser show to that loser Ron "Pea" Reagan is that we don't have to hear his voice on the dog show programs anymore, although I don't know if he ever did Westminster.

I had four fillings replaced...but I have facial neuralgia and it is acting up big time tonight from the shots..plus the shots couldn't kill all the pain during the drilling....:(

mystery.. embarrassed to say I am very much out of the TV loop. Never saw one episode of Seinfield, Friends, Raymond etc..or any of them. The last show I watched "religiously" was Dallas. You KNOW how long ago that was. I used to watch the show & do my ironing for week at same time. A few years back I did a little of X files.
I am into movies big time. would again be embarrassed to say how often I go to big screen.
