The final day of the DNC Winter Meeting takes place Saturday, first with remarks by outgoing chairman Terry McAuliffe, followed by the vote for the new chairman, expected to be former Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean. Afterwards, McAuliffe formally transfers the chairman's gavel to Dean.

I spend some time lurking over at blogforamerica.com, which where all the "deaniacs" hang out because I have an very liberal associate who doesn't know that I know she's always posting over there. So, I go over to follow her posts so that I can make her miserable when we debate. I'll tell ya'll why Dean didn't stick around: He and his followers DO NOT CONSIDER THEMSELVES to be part of the "DNC/Democrat" establishment. They see themselves as "progressives," and they hate the john kerrys and hillarys of the world. They are more liberal than Kerry, Clinton, etc.
Basically, what happened today with Dean's election is that the democrat party in America is split in two (at least) parts, and conquering this divided party is going to be like shooting fish in a barrel. All we have to do is continue watching them eat each other.
