Man, I have never been able to figure Canada out. But then again, I have more important things cooking over the fire than pondering the Frostback sociopolitical construct.

For our non-Canadian readers: AdScam is the ongoing investigation of how the previous Liberal government channelled $100 million to their friends.

For what it's worth, I'm not sure this is necessarily good news. A +4% swing in Quebec might actually give the Liberals enough votes to pull out a few more Quebec ridings. And the CPC's Ontario "gains" may be in rural ridings already held by Conservative MPs. Plus, the 32% CPC support in Ontario from the SES poll isn't much different than the 31.5% of the vote the Conservatives actually pulled in Ontario last June.

The NDP's support (17%) is slightly overstated compared to the election (15.7%), though.

The conservatives are still way behind, though. Me thinks that the Canadian voters still don't get it.

It could be that the Liberals might be picking up support in Quebec because of their position on same-sex (marriage

The french sector. Who knew ? ;-)

Looks to me like we need to get more active down here so we can get more US liberals to move up north in order to help stem the tide, don't ya think?

I've given up trying to understand the canadian system of government.

I do wish you all luck. Would be nice if we had a conservative government border one side of our country.
