" Just like what happened to Mike Tyson."
Not sure which of Mike's many transgressions you may be referring to here, quite a few to choose from. On the rape charge in Indiana, I heard from a source that knew one of insiders on this case quite well that what got Mike in trouble was the sexual deviate conduct charge. According to this account, the front nine was open play. Apparently, Mike played on the back nine against her sincere wishes that he not go there.

And it looks like the slime machine is in full tilt. They are trying to Bork him or do an "Anita Hill."
Unfortunately, all these allegations from decades ago are looking like the slime campaign they are.

The important thing is the seriousness of the charge, not the truth or verifiability of the charge....
< /end sarcasm
Such was also the basis of the Anita Hill attacks on Clarence Thomas too. It's all about deliberate character assassination by the "objective" media....

I have most of his old albums, and hearing him tell stories about Ennis makes me cry. My favorite is "Kill That Boy," from Himself:
Camille tells him, "I want you to go upstairs and kill that boy," and he's all cool with it because he's not the one in trouble. So he goes up to Ennis's room to find the child on his bed, being punished for having cut his own hair.
Bill asks, "What happened to your hair?"
Ennis answers, "I don't know."
Bill says, "Son, was your head with you all day today?"
Ennis says, "Yep!"
Bill says, "Did you cut your hair?"
Ennis says, "Yes!"
Bill asks, "Well, why didn't you TELL me that?"
Ennis answers, "I don't KNOW!"

I like him too. Though the woman from thirty years ago was very credibleShe lost her credibility with me when she repeated that she was a lawyer at least 20 times.
That, and she had an awful lot of sordid (and rehearsedIMO) detail for someone who was rendered helpless and deathly ill by drugs at the time.

You can't write that stuff, you have to live it.
To: Graycliff
Of course it was BS.
It was a liberal attack, make no mistake. Cosby told the truth about some agenda the liberals need to propegate in order to hold any power whatsoever.
Organized, liberal, smear campaign/attack. It's nice they are failing even in these attacks.

Unfortunately, yes.
To my knowledge Cosby is a Liberal. usually they don't tag people of similiar political tendency to be taken down. Cosby is preaching the end of the "victim" attitude among the black community. He is encouraging parents to take responsibility for their children. This is a direct threat. Allegations against him were going to come sooner or later.
I don't think he has the power to be taken down if he doesn't let them intimidate him on the speaking circuit.

I caught some of the woman with the 30 year old story last night. Although she had all of the "right" answers and comments, she was too forthcoming with details, too smug, too confident for me to lend her any credibility.
Something about her affect cast a suspicious light on her.
I like Cosby. He may not be perfect and has and will continue to make human mistakes, but as the dems say "I question the timing of these charges."
He seems to be trying to break the bonds of the modern black slavery and the massa's of today are threatened.
To: digger48
rendered helpless and deathly ill by drugs at the time. BTW, did you like the explanation of how she was able to fling that lamp (or whatever it was) even though she was rendered helpless? I am not sure where Gloria the Lawyer comes down on this one. She was not quite as assertive as she was with Amber Frey.

According to her account Cosby went to a back area of his establishment, returned and offered her not one pill but 2 pills ( take 2 as directed ) to relieve the flu symptoms she was having. She assumed that was the drug that put her into a stupor and surrendered her helpless. WARNING: DO NOT TAKE A MAN TO YOUR APARTMENT AND DISROBE AFTER TAKING THIS MEDICATION!
