'Team America' unsettles Team Kim in Pyongyang
Special to World Tribune.comEAST-ASIA-INTEL.COMWednesday, February 9, 2005
The caricature of North Korea's "Dear Leader", Kim Jong-Il, in the film, "Team America: World Police," is striking a discordant note among North Korean officials, and probably their supreme leader himself, despite his well-known love for private viewings of foreign movies.

Word from Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, is that the North Korean embassy there is asking the government to ban the film, the creation of Trey Parker and Matt Stone of South Park fame.
The Czech Foreign Ministry, however, said the North Koreans had been rebuffed in their effort to undermine the Czech Republic's post-Communist era freedom. The film shows marionettes attempting to stop Kim Jong-Il from destroying cities around the globe.
A Czech newspaper, Lidove Noviny, reports that a North Korean diplomat complained that the film "harms the image of our country." He was even quoted as saying, "Such behavior is not part of our country's political culture."

The problem with little dictators like this is that they have no sense of humor. If the world and God forbid their own people, find them a joke what do they have left? I liked something Mel Brooks said once about how if people really could appreciate how pathetic and ridiculous these dictators are, you have your ultimate revenge upon them. American presidents have suffered lots of satire over the years but the office still survives because the Republic is built on solid ground. These dictators built their house on quicksand and worry about every little thing collapsing it.

He should be worried. Look what happened to Saddam after the South Park movie.

We know Osama had to have actually seen "F-9/11" judging from his last-minute Kerry endorsement. He even mentioned the subject of the book Dubya was reading from to that kindergarten class ("some little girl's pet goat..").
The "goat" part got his attention.

Actually, it was Matt Stone who said that, and what actually he said was "I hate conservatives. But I F*&#ING hate liberals."

They
think that everyone was all hyped up because the Dear Leader's train was coming through and everything had to appear perfect. Right after this Momentous Event, they relaxed somewhat and a couple of the preparatory shortcuts they took caught up with them.

You should explain your picture rather then assume we all know what it is. My second guess is it's Detroit. They're suffering from a declining population and strinking industry.

Matt Stone is (I kid you not) a nephew of pervert fossil wackjob Oliver Stone. This younger generation has no respect for its elders! Do you have a source for this? Old crack head used to say this as well but he never had proof.

I remember hearing about the explosion, but not the cause. Do you know what happened?
To: JeffersonRepublic.com
I remember hearing about the explosion, but not the cause. Do you know what happened? The Train blew up. They gave some malarky story, but it emitted a mushroom cloud. Only High Explosives or nukes can do that and it wasn't a nuke. Likely they were transporting a shipment of HE for missiles and something set it off. There were rumors of it being Scuds or Scud like missiles, but I'm not sure that holds any water. What happened for sure is a large volume of HE went off. The hows and whys are unknowable unless you're Kim Jong Mentally Ill.
