'Team America' unsettles Team Kim in Pyongyang
The caricature of North Korea's "Dear Leader", Kim Jong-Il, in the film, "Team America: World Police," is striking a discordant note among North Korean officials, and probably their supreme leader himself, despite his well-known love for private viewings of foreign movies.
Word from Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, is that the North Korean embassy there is asking the government to ban the film, the creation of Trey Parker and Matt Stone of South Park fame.
The Czech Foreign Ministry, however, said the North Koreans had been rebuffed in their effort to undermine the Czech Republic's post-Communist era freedom. The film shows marionettes attempting to stop Kim Jong-Il from destroying cities around the globe.
A Czech newspaper, Lidove Noviny, reports that a North Korean diplomat complained that the film "harms the image of our country." He was even quoted as saying, "Such behavior is not part of our country's political culture."
He's so ronerly!!
Trey Parker and Matt Stone.....gotta love those guys! I've always been a big fan of theirs!
dirka dirka ping.

Bump.
WWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAA
Whining weasels.
Matt Damon!!!
I loved the Christmas special when they caught him acting as the Prime Minister of Canada.
The South Park producers also managed to infuriate Saddam Hussein:
Saddam was at least smart enough to to complement them by publicly complaining. Then again, he probably never even knew. Li'l Kim is of course, a notorious film buff and has almost certainly actually seen the movie. No doubt a line or two from this official complaint will find it's way to the front cover of the latest DVD edition...
Me, too! I heard Trey quote one time: "I hate conservatives, but I really, really HATE liberals!" I love the anti-PC view he takes on "South Park"...
Furthermore, I though ol' Kim came across as leaner and more macho as a marionette than in real life.
Alec Baldwin, as well, never looked so good.
Equal-opportunity satire.
So I guess having a certified looney running your country, starving its people and threatening every 15 minutes to lob a nuke somewhere ISN'T harmful to your image?
I only one words for N.K and its' leaders.
Nuke-em.
Yes, I know its' rather a strong statement.
Or, as I frame myself; I'm an equal-opportunity offender...
We know Osama had to have actually seen "F-9/11" judging from his last-minute Kerry endorsement. He even mentioned the subject of the book Dubya was reading from to that kindergarten class ("some little girl's pet goat..").
Old pingpong is miffed because now when he tries to conquer the world, he'll get laughed at and sued! :-)
Yo, Kim, ... and the horse you rode in on.
Haha yeah. I love the disclaimer for South Park. They warn of foul language and blah blah blah, "...and should not be viewed by anyone."
Also, the commercials last season were great. They were throwing up all sorts of insults and ethnic slurs, followed by "If we did not offend you, we sincerely apologize."
