For all of you who are, or know people who are: Active Duty, Active Reserve, Ready Reserve Service members or National Guardsmen....Free Admission to Busch Gardens is available. Check this link. Free Admission info is on the left side. The link will take you to a view of the advertisement shown during the Super Bowl on Sunday. http://www.herosalute.com/states/free_admission_summary.html
FREE ADMISSION SUMMARY
Any active duty, active reserve, ready reserve service member or National Guardsman is entitled to free admission under the Here's to the Heroes program. He or she need only register, either here
or in the entrance plaza of participating parks, and show a Department of Defense photo ID. As many as three direct dependents of military personnel also are entitled to free admission. Dependents may take advantage of the offer without their service member, though an adult must accompany minor dependents. Busch Gardens Williamsburg and SeaWorld San Antonio are seasonal operations that will remain closed until spring 2005. Military personnel interested in visiting those parks should check operating schedules. Click here for Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Click here for SeaWorld San Antonio. Click here for Sesame Place. The remaining parks, SeaWorld Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and SeaWorld San Diego are open year round.
And for what is is worth, Amereican Airlines Admirals Clubs allow ID'd servicefolk in for free.
And when I am in one, no one in a service uniform will pay for their drink.
I have had the priviledge of setting up or wonderful military folk, except when others in the lounge beat me to it!
And if you haven't seen the Thank You ad yet, there are two current threads on it. Bring tissue:

See Joan Swirsky's great article in NewsMax.com on the Spewing Dems! - COWS MOO, LIBERALS SPEW!
An amazing ad. It lasted a full minute though it seemed like only a few seconds went by. Doug posted on his thread that it was the Number 1 Superbowl ad this year.
Quite a different reception than the one I got when I came home from Nam after serving alongside the Swifties.
Freaking Kerry.
Thanks for the ping.

Don't know how I missed this, but I'm glad they are doing this again! Very cool! This will be a nice treat this spring break!
