"Listen for Yourself" John Kerry's recent e-mail.
e-mail | John Kerry

Posted on 02/05/2005 1:20:42 PM PST by G3

Dear XXX,

America gets it even if George Bush doesn't. Thousands of families from all across the nation have called our Give Voice to Our Values phone line (866-876-4490) and left one compelling message after another about the need to put Kids First.

Listen for yourself. Hear some of the moving testimony about the importance of passing the Kids First Act of 2005 and providing health insurance to the 11 million American children now living without it:

http://www.johnkerry.com/listen

This is the first nationwide online public hearing on an issue before the Congress. The thousands of testimonials we've received from concerned Americans are an invaluable contribution to the fight for better health care in our country.

Obviously, we have a lot of tough fights ahead because, on issue after issue, the Bush administration's policies are way out of step with the American people and frankly, with American values. Why else would George W. Bush devote his State of the Union speech to trying to stampede the nation into a phony sense of crisis over Social Security.

Instead of barnstorming the country today to gin up support for privatizing Social Security, why isn't he rallying America to action on the REAL crisis of millions of children waking up every morning exposed to the risks of living without health insurance?

We've got to make it clear that we will never let the President stampede the country into undermining Social Security. And we will keep giving voice to our values until each and every child in America has health insurance.

I will be contacting you later about the special role our johnkerry.com community can play in the effort to protect Social Security. Meanwhile, there are two steps I hope you will take right now to advance our Put Kids First campaign.

First, if you have a story to share, please call our "Give Voice to Our Values" project at 866-876-4490. Then, forward this message to a friend, neighbor, or family member. We want as many people as possible to hear the compelling messages we've gathered in support of our Put Kids First initiative.

I am very excited about the energy and enthusiasm you have helped generate on behalf of this vitally important effort. Let's keep it up.

Sincerely,

John Kerry

P.S. I urge you to listen to the sampling of messages we've gathered. There is no doubt about America's commitment to helping children. We just have to keep the pressure on until the White House and the Republican Congress have no choice but to act.

This e-mail received Feb 4 and I just wanted to keep all Freepers informed with the loser activities. Have not called the phone # to listen to the Libs stories.

The biggest healthcare issue facing any child in this country is that they may be aborted! Wonder how many messages there are about that?

I got these e-mails, too, just to see what they were up to during the election. But after this last one, I figured it was a good time to unsubscribe.

I am 100% certain that my message that John Kerry was a social-climbing horse's patoot since I met him at Yale 41 years ago, will NOT be among the messages played. Likewise, I am certain that the many messages from Freepers saying "Sign your Form 180 to release your medical records," will also NOT be played.

Kerry was a fraud then. He is a fraud now. He will continue being a fraud until he has life and breath. What a maroon!

Nobody is without medical insurance in this country....yet. Grief, we even take care of all the illegals flooding our borders. Anyone pushing this message of the "uninsured" is a liar.

If I see one more freaking John Kerry for President bumper sticker, I'll scream. I don't think they noticed that they lost.

Pathetic. Dutifully following the instructions of his handlers, the message includes the word "values" four different times. "Senator, our research suggests that it's not important to have any values, just to mention them a lot."

Can Kerry possibly be deceiving himself into thinking that he represents any kind of movement or that anyone - ANYONE - looks to him for leadership?

Here's the message I left.
"Mr. Kerry, the biggest single health issue facing American children is the fact that they may not live to take their first breath...becasue they will be aborted.

You speak of 11 million kids without health care, how about the 40-60 million who have been killed who will never get the opportunity to even know about health care in this nation, due to this horrible "chocie" which you support? If you want to help children's health care, Mr. Kerry, keep them ALIVE.

Oh, by the way, this would have a double impact because it will also help with the illegal immigration issue. How you ask? Because a whole generation of kids who would have grown up to take those jobs, has been killed and are therefore not alive in this nation to take them. Shame on you Mr. Kerry! but thank you very much for the opportunity."
They'll never use such a message, but the should be DELUGED with them!

My daughter ( she's 23) doesn't have insurance right now. She works full time, but her employer keeps jerking her around on the hours she needs to qualify ( if she works one hour less than what is needed ONE WEEK, they say she needs to start all over again). She makes "too much" to qualify for any help.

She does not want however....the kind of health care Canada offers.

This guy is actually going to try for it again in 2008.

I bet he thinks he has a better shot next time with no incumbent. The question is, will Mama T spot him any dough this time? I have no doubt that HE is up for the race, but I don't know about her...and she controls the purse strings.

The question is does he really think he has any chance of taking on her majesty Hillary for the Dem nomination?
