BILL PRESS YOU'RE A MORON! (vanity)
Hannity and Colmes

Posted on 02/04/2005 6:25:13 PM PST by cyborg

Bill Press you're an unmitigated a$$wipe for comparing the general to Hannibal Lecter. That general is a true patriot. You're best luck is that Sean gave you time tonight to show the world that you're a butthead. Oh yeah you're book is crap too.

Uh-oh, I think Ollie North was on MSNBC at one time, I wouldn't call HIM a loser---

What a POS. I always hated that leftie she-male, but when he compared a US marine to hannibal lecter,, osama binladen, and various other scum, I was furious.

I have seen Press in the past and couldn't take 3 sec of that POS. Do say anything bad about our great Marines makes my blood boil. My dad was a Marine and was at Iwo in the 4th Marine Division. He always told us the democrats want to destroy this country. God rest his soul, he was right. If I ever run into that Press POS, I will make sure he gets true justice. He is typical of the left.

CNN made the girly-man, metrosexual, famous. I can't believe I used to watch them so much just a few years ago. I knew I was being brainwashed but I didn't let them get to me.

Hunt didn't spend any time with Mattis on Task Force Ripper during Desert Storm and wasn't riding with Mattis in his HUMVEE during the invasion of Iraq, did he?

I was wondering if anyone was going to respond what I posted regarding Col. Hunt's remarks----

I am so glad that you can dispell his description of a man that had NEVER been in a battle, let alone killed anyone. I found his remarks very disrespectful, but, he contends that he "knows" General Mattis, and I had no reason to believe otherwise.

Thank you for responding---

My liberal upbringing makes me the conservative that I am. I have seen all the damage that lifestyle causes and say prayers thanking God for keeping me alive through it all. I was always a conservative deep down, I went Disco just to get away from the morons in the rock scene.

I was born in Boulder, Colorado and lived there until my senior year in high school. I then moved to Texas---

I hated Texas at first but I truly believe it saved me from becoming a commune living, hippie liberal activist, like say
Ward Churchill!!!

The university is beautiful and so is the town of Boulder, BUT, it is very ugly in its radicalness (prolly not a word, but if Bush can make up words, so can I).

Alan Colmes is married to Monica Crowley's sister! I've heard she's a liberal...

I agree wholeheartedly with you about Bill Press. Thank God the U.S. military isn't run by girliemen like him!

You're being much too diplomatic!

But then again, we'd get a 36 hour suspension by the Mod for posting our true assessment of the esteemed Mr. Press.

"Lieutenant General

Lieutenant General James N. Mattis is currently serving as the Commanding General, Marine Corps Combat Development Command, Quantico, VA and Deputy Commandant for Combat Development, Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps.

As a Lieutenant, he served as a rifle and weapons platoon commander in the 3d Marine Division. As a Captain, he commanded a rifle company and a weapons company in the 1st Marine Brigade. As a Major, he commanded RS Portland. As a Lieutenant Colonel, he commanded 1st Battalion, 7th Marines, one of Task Force Ripper's assault battalions in Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. As a Colonel, he commanded 7th Marines (Reinforced). As a Brigadier General, he commanded 1st Marine Expeditionary Brigade and then Task Force 58, during Operation Enduring Freedom in southern Afghanistan. As a Major General, he commanded 1st Marine Division during the initial attack and subsequent stability operations in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom

He is a graduate of the Amphibious Warfare School, Marine Corps Command and Staff College, and the National War College."

(Updated 04 November 2004, HQMC)

Admittedly, this brief resume' does not go into a lot of detail, although he appears to have combat experience in 1991 as a battalion CO at the rank of LtCol. Combat Marines were pulled out of Vietnam by 1972 I believe. Personally, I was there in 1967-'68 and released from active duty at the end of 1969. Anyway, from 1972 to 2004 is 32 years, and it's certainly conceivable that a current General Officer would not have served in Vietnam. The current Commandant, Gen. Hagee, did serve briefly there toward the end of the Marine engagement. Anyway, contemporary/peer testimonials to his leadership capabilities are good; therefore, I'll forgive a bit of bravado and give him the benefit of a doubt and stand by my statement that his leadership is needed; and, that any perceived indiscretion should be forgiven. These people get enough harassment by the MSM and other 'Rats.

I know Hunt and Jim Mattis and all in all I would say that Dave Hunt is jealous of General Mattis' success. Lots of Marines and soldiers who "never fought" as company grade officers later became great generals and visa versa... For the last 2.5 years Jim Mattis has been in the middle of the fighting... MEB commander in OEF and division CG in OIF, and most recently as MEF commander in Iraq... We all sleep well at night because men like Jim Mattis are defending us...

Bill Press has been a moron since the days when he had that Saturday radio show that nobody listened to in L.A. ten years ago. How he got any further is a mystery.

It would be hard for me to think of Bill Press writing a book. The guy is really a void. Perhaps he has the money to hire a ghost-writer.

Yikes. That's rather pathetic. Russert's become a waste of time. I don't even bother watching anymore.

Well, if they want to go that route, then they should present some people from A.N.S.W.E.R. and let the American public REALLY KNOW what the left is all about.

I find it hard to believe he's capable of writing anything. Depends though. Mein Kampf was written by Hitler himself and horrible but a lot of people loved it because it was about hatred. Maybe that explains all these Bush bashing books. It's Saturday and I still think he's a moron.

I do not understand the vitriol that is directed at Bush. Bush is more of a down-home guy than Clinton ever thought of being. Clinton was all about Clinton. Bush was more about relaxing and being the consummate down-home guy. He was basically just one of the guys.

Clinton's buds were whacked. Bush's probably still like to party on.

The press likes to play Bill Clinton up as brilliant. Brilliant people don't paint themselves into the corners Bill did on a number of occasions.

Thanks for the comments. We're in agreement here.
