A Day in the Life of President Bush (photos): 2.4.05
Yahoo, White House | 02/04/05

Posted on 02/04/2005 3:09:55 PM PST by MJY1288

This morning President Bush participated in a discussion about Social Security reform at the Qwest Center Omaha Arena in Omaha, Nebraska. This afternoon he held another discussion about Social Security in Little Rock, Arkansas at the Robinson Center Auditorium. Finally late this afternoon the President attended a third town hall style meeting at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa Florida. At all three events President Bush was greeted by 10's of thousands of supporters, yet the mainstream media spends more time reporting about less than 2 dozen angry Democrats infected with the desease Liberalsim, than they spend on the Presidents message. We wont make that mistake here :-)

I wish I had your talent with words--you just actualized what I have thought about this amazing man, but didn't know how to say it!

WOW. What a tearjerker. That mom was sooooo brave to come to the SOTU. And the love and caring she showed the Iraqi woman; I hope she felt some sort of comfort that her son's death was not in vain.

***Iraqi villagers kill five insurgents who had bullied them, THEN TRASH THEIR VEHICLES!***

I heard that--it's so awesome! I hope and pray people all over Iraq rise up against the insurgents.

President Bush (news - web sites), center, speaks at the Tampa Convention Center, Friday, Feb. 4, 2005 in Tampa, Fla. With Bush on stage are from left to right, Dwight Dillard, Jim Browne, Carlos Huertos, and Olivia Mitchell. Bush is on a five-state tour to sell the American public the agenda he laid out before Congress in his State of the Union address. Bush focused on his proposal to change the Social Security (news - web sites) system, which he says is heading for bankruptcy. (AP Photo/Pablo Martinez Monsivais)

Have not really heard just seen pictures on TV with her and Jack Straw they showed part of an address she made confirming diplomacy is the way to go with Iran. Probably get more reaction in the papers tomorrow. Just seen a clip on FOX of her with Tony Blair

Yes it was!

(I'll post the details later or tomorrow--I'm so tired I'm punchy, and have a presentation to give at a conference tomorrow. Luckily it's not till the afternoon, but I do have to be there in the AM)

Hints--It was wonderful!

The protester was right in front of us, but you should have heard everyone yell him down instantly!

It took a magnificent U.S. President, our brave Armed Forces, and the courage of the Iraqi people to make it so.

Exactly so. Although there are other forces working for good in many parts of the world as well that perhaps we don't see as clearly.

I watched that it was very moving she is very articulate

She certainly was. A most impressive woman, as was her husband.
