A Day in the Life of President Bush (photos): 2.4.05
Yahoo, White House | 02/04/05

Posted on 02/04/2005 3:09:55 PM PST by MJY1288

This morning President Bush participated in a discussion about Social Security reform at the Qwest Center Omaha Arena in Omaha, Nebraska. This afternoon he held another discussion about Social Security in Little Rock, Arkansas at the Robinson Center Auditorium. Finally late this afternoon the President attended a third town hall style meeting at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa Florida. At all three events President Bush was greeted by 10's of thousands of supporters, yet the mainstream media spends more time reporting about less than 2 dozen angry Democrats infected with the desease Liberalsim, than they spend on the Presidents message. We wont make that mistake here :-)

Laura looks wonderful in that red velvet jacket. And at least Lauren Bush, the model, is curvaceous rather than emaciated like too many models these days. She's a very pretty young woman.

Okay, now my screen just went all blurry. (sniff, sniff)

Mrs. Norwood is a very special mom! My prayers and thanks to them both.

The man is a wonder. He may not be a champion Yale debater, but he's got unbelievable charm, charisma and humility to go with an amazing depth of character that is revealed more every day.

Amen. Amen.Amen

Hello how are you? You know you never did do your "Surprise, surprise, surprise" imitation. I waited for it with baited breath, but alas I was disappointed. :) I came back the very next day too, but oh well.

May I ask a question? Please remember I am comp. illiterate, but how do you use it for future use? How do all of you post those little graphics like that? I'm a real knucklehead when it comes to those things but i would love to learn.

I mentioned this on the Dose after the SOTU address and we first got to "meet" Mr. and Mrs. Norwood -- not for sympathy, but only to explain why I so revere mothers who love their children as Mrs. Norwood loves her son. My mother abandoned me when I was around a year old. As a consequence, I grew up quite literally never having anyone tell me they loved me; never anyone to hug and reassure me.

So, for all you deeply loving moms out there, please know that you matter so, SO much in this world. Perhaps only a child who has never had that love can fully know how immeasurably important it is.

I will never meet Mrs. Norwood, so will never be able to try to offer her comfort. But I can at least encourage all you moms to treasure your children, even on those days when they frustrate you, or worry you, or defy you. There is no substitute -- none, absolutely none -- no substitute for the unconditional love you give your children.
