Will someone please let W know this. Even Reuters can see it for heavens sake.

"Pushing their beliefs" is PC code talk for 'unwilling to embrace the perversion and sacrilege being shoved down their throats'.

At the same time, those polled said they were growing bolder about pushing their beliefs on others even at the risk of offending someone. At the risk of offending someone? How long has ActUp been invading St. Patrick's Cathedral and tossing around condoms?

Big difference between being more vocal and being intolerant. I think the churches are finally finding their voices.

Many polled are leery of political compromises on core beliefs Regardless of Reuters' Christophobic spin, this is still bad news for liberal (R)'s, which is good news for conservatism.

Yes, those Christians are getting more outspoken. Time to smack them down!

If church-goers are bolder, it's because those who oppose Christianity have been in their faces for several decades, pushing an agenda that is openly hostile to Christian values and essentially undemocratic. Church-goers know that the left pushes its agenda primarily through the courts--because it can't be achieved by means of the ballot box. They have reacted to this in predictable ways--by pushing back politically. For every action there's a reaction.

Unlike liberals and atheists. /sarcasm

Of course these folks who attack the Boy Scouts and anything Christian are not pushing their beliefs on anyone.

Funny, I never read of homosexuals being "intolerant" of social norms and sodomy laws.

I don't even have to read the rest of this PMSNBC drivel. Imagine Christians becoming bold in their faith? It's surely the sign of the END of the WORLD. I can't even begin to tolerate those evil Christians pushing their self-suicidal beliefs on the body politic. For shame, for shame. sic,,,

From the article:
"There do not seem to be very many voices arguing for compromise today," she said in an interview. "It could be that more religious voices feel under siege, pinned against the wall by cultural developments. They may feel more emboldened as a result."
I can understand that position and have felt that way myself. But I'm not sure if we as a whole haev approached the response in a proper manner.
