A classic case of projection. "Pushing their beliefs" is what the PC crowd does, so it stands to reason that is how they would perceive it.

perhaps use of different words might allow the concept to sink in...
"Pushing my beliefs" is not the same as allowing every perversion and deviancy to be considered the same as normal behavior.
I will not allow you to force me to fund or otherwise promote your beliefs, and I shall do the same same with mine.
