More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.

Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.

Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.

Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!

The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.

IMO the media needs to know that we are capable of seeking out news and doing some research to see whether they are giving us the goods or not! The MSM wonders why FOX gets such good ratings, DUH!

We need to carry the mainstream press kicking and screaming to the truth. Fox covers the story more than the others but they seem to vacillate on how to report it.

The Empire Journal is definitely leading the way for the rest of the media on this story. I haven't seen anyone else doing as thorough a job of investigating the corruption that reeks throughout this story and the abuse that Terri has suffered through the years.

Thanks for posting this again. This little exchange always angers me, knowing that the DOCTOR here that says "Good! Good job!" is the same doctor that testified in court that Terri is PVS. HOW CAN SHE BE PVS WHEN BY HIS WORDS HE OBVIOUSLY THINKS SHE RESPONDED TO HIM?!!

Your show was terrible last night. You seemed to go all out against Terri. That attorney didn't even bother to refresh his memory of the case or he just out and out lied.

Terri was out with a girlfriend who told her not to go home that night. She was concerned about Terri’s safety.

It was late at night and Terri certainly hadn’t just finished dinner and gone to throw up. That attorney had his own agenda last night.

Dr. Baden was making statements about Terri's condition that he isn't an expert in. Isn't he a medical forensics expert, not a neurologist and he's never visited with Terri.

Why don’t you have on some of the doctors the Schindler’s have?

Also this case is about to break open. It would be nice if the mainstream media started to investigate. You could be one of the first.

Actually, I have watched your show whenever you’ve had Terri’s case on. Most of the time, I think you present both sides. That’s why I was surprised by your show last night.

Here’s another issue concerning Terri’s case that isn’t being addressed by the mainstream.

Why is a person of interest allowed to shut down an investigation in the state of Florida?????

The article states:
Richard LaBelle, a Dunedin attorney who works with the advocacy center, said the agency reviewed court files and other medical records that were readily available and presented them to a medical expert who said he needed to examine Terri Schiavo before deciding whether she had been mistreated.
LaBelle said the group needed Michael Schiavo's permission to examine his wife and didn't get it. LaBelle said he welcomed DCF's involvement in the case now.
"I think that as an advocate for persons with disabilities, I think any claims should be resolved before further action is taken," LaBelle said. "I think the line should be drawn in favor of pursuing a good faith investigation."
So the attorney, Richard LaBelle, for the "State-Appointed" advocacy group couldn't get the guardian to grant permission to the advocacy group and the DCF let it go.

Sounds like the Florida legislatures needs to pass a law whereby, the advocacy group has the power to overrule the guardian in an investigation of abuse.

To put it another way:

the story has been there all along---they have ignored it---and the story WHY Florida media ignored it is a story by itself we're working on.

QUESTION: Has anyone ever filed a complaint with the Florida Elections Commission about the alleged violations of Greer in his campaign advertising---they are the agency to take a look at it---FS 104, 105 and 106. The complaint form was informed in the AD FLAP article on The Empire JOurnal site. I would be interested in learning if anyone ever contacted the Elections Commission about Greer.

I know that Mrs. DITucci is wrong about Michael's remarriage, but if there really is a million dollar insurance payment out there, waiting for Terri to be starved to death, this is definitely a "conflict of interest" that Michael has lied about. He claims he doesn't have any insurance policies on her. I believe he said this on Larry King Live.

Maybe, Judge Greer could use this information to remove Michael as guardian, so that he can pretend he just found out that Michael is a liar and does not have Terri's best interest at heart.

My Reply: I was so busy calling and e-mailing I forgot to post this reply I received from Ruthie On Feb 20th:

The issue hadn't to do with a reward/recompense of any kind. The million was due from a legitimate insurance policy he had in place for years with that company. This was a routine matter of business.

When the incident became a legal battle, the insurance company decided to sit on the money and not pay it out. They've since paid it to the husband (and rightfully so).

I wonder why the insurance company had to pay out. What kind of insurance policy is it? Is it the jury award or a life insurance policy? If it was the insurance company that the hospital and doctors used, then I guess it makes sense. She doesn't really say what the insurance is.
