TERRI SCHINDLER SCHIAVO FEBRUARY DAILY THREAD 2005: TERRI IS OUR VALENTINE!
Free Republic and various sources | December 30, 2004, January 31, 2005 | Florida Voter

*Michael, HAVE A HEART !!!!!For Valentines Day give Terri back to her MOM & DAD, The Schindlers!!!!!!!!*

The Terri Schindler Schiavo Daily Threads are created month to month as we watch local and national news regarding Terri and her family.

Since Terri's supporters are in every time zone, you may see something FIRST. Please share news with us that you don't see here already. Now, why would you want to do that? Terri's Daily Thread for September/October of 2004 was viewed over 15,000 times. Terri's November Daily Thread was viewed over 6,000 times. December's thread is over 3,000 views. January 2005 Daily Thread was a RECORD HIGH!!!!!!! 15, 103 VIEWS!!!!!!

More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.

Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.

Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.

Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

See Terri's flash movies if you need more information. You can see for yourself that's she's interactive and follows the doctor's instructions.

Visit: http://www.terrisfight.org

NOTE: Terri's December Dailies are noted as a source above. There are lots of important links at the very top of that thread. If you missed Terri's Celebration of Life, you can click on it from there.

AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!

The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.

It looks like the movie was made in 1977 -- "In the Matter of Karen Ann Quinlan." It seems reasonable to me that a repeat would be on in 1981. Karen Quinlan lived for a long time after she was taken off the ventilator.

BTW, IMDB does not show the movie as ever having been released on video. Unless the movie was broadcast sometime after about 1984 or so, it would seem unlikely anyone would have recorded it off air. Very curious--I'm really wondering when ItMoKAQ was last broadcast. I wonder if there's any realistic possibility that Terri even could have seen it with Michael.

Continuing your line of thought, Theodore - Bill of Rights:

Amendment I. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Amendment X. The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

First and foremost, the federal government's duty is to protect and defend, to promote general welfare.

And, then, we have The Declaration of Independence....

we have The Declaration of Independence

Liberal courts do not recognize the Declaration as a part of law.

and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Yes, we have petitioned the government of FL at all levels about Terri, and the government has told us essentially: "Keep quiet, go away, but don't forget to vote Republican!"

promote general welfare

This is interpreted as the overall well-being of the nation. Terri's case has been restricted to that of a single individual who "lacks a full brain" and therefore is given no consideration by liberal courts.

Now for many "welfare" means a government program, which in part supports Terri's last years of residence in that "hospice."

It's madness in the State of FL, isn't it?

Amendment X. The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

In 1941, the Supreme Court gutted the Tenth Amendment, saying that while the states have individual powers, those powers do not overshadow those of the national government in the federal system. The Court said the amendment is a "truism." Robert J. Dole tried to resurrect the Tenth Amendment in his 1996 campaign, but people wouldn't hear of it. Dole carried a copy of the amendment around in a suit pocket, pulled it out, and read it at campaign stops. The people could not understand what he was saying, I guess, or they just could not imagine life without Bill Clinton. The Court does not treat all parts of the Constitution equally, does it?

If it is true that the Bishop is going against the Pope's teachings, he should be reported to a higher authority, like maybe his Cardinal? I don't know for a fact if it's true, but wrote an e-mail to find out.

I believe it would carry more weight if someone from FL contacted him or his office, but anywhere around the country doesn't hurt, either.

Office of the Bishop

Most Reverend Robert N. Lynch
Bishop of the Diocese of St. Petersburg

Mrs. Angelica Iglesias
Executive Secretary for the Bishop
Phone (727) 341-6830
E-mail: VI@dosp.org

I e-mailed the Bishop's secretary. Here's my e-mail:

Dear Mrs. Iglesias:

What is the Bishop's position on whether or not to remove the feeding tube of Terri Schiavo?

Ironically Terri Schiavo CAN swallow, but Judge Greer and Terri's husband, Michael, won't allow it. A nurse had fed Terri jello which she enjoyed immensely.
Terri laughs at jokes and can say a few words, and tries to talk, but needs therapy to talk better. Michael won't allow her any kind of therapy.

May God bless you and guide you,

Yes, "Dr." Dean is also a huge supporter of euthanasia. I would he would ever sign a "DNR" order on HIMSELF.

Back in the 1940's, after WWII, my Roman Catholic half-brother married out of the church. So happy that he had come home from the war safely, his wife decided to take Catholic instruction, catechism, I think, and they remarried in the church.

Many bishops go against the authority of the Pope. The Pope cannot control many of those apostate bishops.

The popular Richard A. Gephardt disappeared from the public payroll on Jan. 3, 2005

Oops, I had better correct myself: Gephardt will draw a very generous retirement pension from the American people for presumably many years to come. He may have left office, but he has not left the payroll.

What happens if a priest goes against the will of such a bishop (but with the will of the Pope?)

Michael doesn't want Terri to take Holy Communion, I believe, because it proves she can swallow.

If she can swallow, she won't even need a feeding tube; hence he can't have her killed; hence he doesn't get the $$$$$$; hence if Terri receives therapy, she might tell how she became disabled; hence Michael would not get REVENGE on Terri's dad, for making his life less pleasant.

Now you're sounding like "the man" in my home. He can come up with every reason why our efforts are futile....grrrr

An honest Constitutional attorney could rip a few like Greer and Felos to pieces.

Declaration of Independence, second paragraph. My fingers are too tired to type it at the moment.

"Many bishops go against the authority of the Pope. The Pope cannot control many of those apostate bishops."

I disagree, the Pope and Cardinals can censure any Bishop that goes against the teachings of the Church.

The Curch is finally starting to defrock the priests who have been convicted of child molestation. I don't see why he can't defrock a Bishop, if the Bishop is going against the Church's teachings.

I guess the Southern Baptists have an enemy within, too, but I'm sure most of them are pro-life.

A letter to the editor would inform people of Terri's situation, even if the paper is liberal, provided they print it.

Secular liberal papers have published my pro-life letters.

Thanks for sharing your email to the Bishop. I'm going to send my own. We need to hold this Bishop accountable. There are things he can do to help the Schindlers and to make sure that Michael and Jodi cannot marry in the Catholic Church since they are in defiance of the Pope's recent teachings.
