*Michael, HAVE A HEART !!!!!For Valentines Day give Terri back to her MOM & DAD, The Schindlers!!!!!!!!*
The Terri Schindler Schiavo Daily Threads are created month to month as we watch local and national news regarding Terri and her family.
Since Terri's supporters are in every time zone, you may see something FIRST. Please share news with us that you don't see here already. Now, why would you want to do that? Terri's Daily Thread for September/October of 2004 was viewed over 15,000 times. Terri's November Daily Thread was viewed over 6,000 times. December's thread is over 3,000 views. January 2005 Daily Thread was a RECORD HIGH!!!!!!! 15, 103 VIEWS!!!!!!
More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.
Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.
Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.
Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.
See Terri's flash movies if you need more information. You can see for yourself that's she's interactive and follows the doctor's instructions.

NOTE: Terri's December Dailies are noted as a source above. There are lots of important links at the very top of that thread. If you missed Terri's Celebration of Life, you can click on it from there.
AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!
The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.
You make a good point. They would not try THREE times to kill a hardened murderer.
I don't know if anyone actually counted how many are for or against Terri, but most of the posters here are FOR life; hence saving Terri's life.
It was the case of Karen Ann Quinlan, a woman who was on a ventilator. After the ventilator was disconnected, Ms. Quinlan was expected to die within minutes, but instead lived on for years.
So I guess what Terri meant was that if she were in KAQ's situation, she would want her husband to disconnect the ventilator and then stuff a pillow over her head to ensure she didn't start breathing on her own.
Have a good evening.
Feb. 22nd is still a speculative date put out by Felos. While it may still come to getting that decision, the courts have not (that I know of) actually set the date. As soon as approval is given by the 2nd DCA, Michael plans to set it in motion. The order has not been finalized yet.
However, it IS VERY IMPORTANT to keep phoning and writing , because we are up against a deadline that will come at a moment's notice. We have to keep working at it NOW! Thanks for re-posting the numbers for everyone!
Goodnight Terri prayer!
I'll second the goodnight Terri prayer.
Why don't you sign the petitiononline too! It only take a minute and you never know, it might give our legislature pause to think.
So, let us not only e-mail the post and Eric, but the house too, and thank Jeb Bush for what he has done but e-mail his brother, his father, and Jimmy Carter. The more the merrier! I'm already more than 1/2 way with the senate and 3/4 way through the house (the hardest to do).
PLEASE SIGN PETITION FOR TERRI
Without 11th-hour help Terri Schindler-Schiavo will soon be
starved to death. Husband Michael Schiavo -- thanks to yet
another outrage by an activist judge -- again has a death
sentence from the Florida courts to execute this courageous woman by removing her feeding tube.
Your quick help is needed! Please go to ConservativePetitions.com to see what is at stake not only for Terri but for all Americans.
Here's the address:

Act NOW to spare Terri's life! The Schiavo family has asked Fr. Frank Pavone, Alan Keyes, Randall Terry and all caring Americans to join with them and not only right this terrible wrong to their daughter, but fix the system that allows such judicial tyranny.
First, sign petitions to Governor Bush to intervene, and to
President George W. Bush to nominate only U.S. Supreme Court Justices who will faithfully interpret the Constitution as written -- and PROTECT INNOCENT LIFE. Then stand ready to help as encouraged by subsequent email alerts!
Here's your chance to stop judicial tyrants who blithely order the death of an innocent, handicapped woman while denying her the right to be fairly represented in court, refusing to honor her family's love or religious convictions, or even taking objective expert medical or forensic opinion into account. Send a message
to activist judges everywhere by setting a precedent in this nationally publicized case. Here's where to make your stand:

In subsequent e-mails as Terri's situation unfolds, Dr. Keyes will offer you the opportunity to help the Declaration Alliance flood Florida with mail and emails, phone calls and faxes, pushing Gov. Bush and the legislature to act courageously TO SPARE TERRI'S
LIFE! Let them re-establish legal precedent in favor of
protecting the vulnerable and innocent disabled! Here again is where to act:

You've got freepmail.

"Perhaps when we all go to church services, we could ask our priest, minister or rabbi to pray for Terri and ask him to ask the entire congregation to do so.
When I went to the vigil mass today, I asked my priest to please pray for Terri Schiavo, as they want to pull her feeding tube for the third time. He said that he would pray, and he would also mention it at tomorrow's mass.
Maybe we can add tens of thousands more folks praying for Terri, in addition to those who already are praying."
Excellent!
With mixed pleasure and sorrow, I have signed the petition.
A girlfirend said she watched the Karen Quinlen movie with Terri. They had just graduated from high school when the movie came out. Her story is very credible.

Before fight over death, Terri Schiavo had a life
PINELLAS PARK, Florida (AP) -- Diane Meyer can recall only one time that her best friend, Terri Schiavo, really got angry with her. It was in 1981, and it haunts her still.
The recent high school graduates had just seen a television movie about Karen Ann Quinlan, who had been in a coma since collapsing six years earlier and was the subject of a bitter court battle over her parents' decision to take her off a respirator. Meyer says she told a cruel joke about Quinlan, and it set Terri off.
"She went down my throat about this joke, that it was inappropriate," Meyer says. She remembers Terri saying she wondered how the doctors and lawyers could possibly know what Quinlan was really feeling or what she would want.
"Where there's life," Meyer recalls her saying, "there's hope."
Twenty-two years later and suffering from brain damage, Terri is now the subject of a similar debate -- and so is the question of what choice she would make about her life and death.
....etc...
In contrast to Meyer's recollection, her husband, Michael Schiavo, and members of his family have said Terri told them she would not want to be kept alive artificially if she were incapable of getting better.
...etc...
Thanx for the update.
So I guess that Terri's feeding tube COULD removed be as early as Feb. 22, but not necessarily on that day, because Feb. 22 is just a speculative day. The more time we have - the better - to fight the courts.
I think it's good to post the phone #'s often for the lurkers who just might be passing throught, but want to help Terri.
Each one of us could add hundreds, or even thousands, of voices praying to God for Terri, just by asking our clergy to mention Terri at the weekly service.
Sadly, we would probably have to spend 15 minutes alone with the clergyman to explain Terri's situation. Most ministers are totally unaware of her fight, as there has been a news blackout among the MSM.
I was wondering about calling the Bishop in Florida. Terri's father was asked about support from the Church, especially in light of the Pope's declaration.
He said that Bishops and Cardinals in other states have expressed their support for Terri, but not the Bishop in Florida.
Since priests can refuse to give Communion to those that defy the Church's teaching, I was wondering why they don't refuse to marry Michael and Jody once they murder Terri against the teachings of the Church. I don't believe Michael is a practicing Catholic. But, since Jodi is living with Michael she should not be receiving Communion. It's the same for a remarried Catholic, they cannot receive Communion. Since she is defying the Catholic Church in her open support of Michael's intentions of starving Terri to death, I don't see how she can receive Communion or marry in the Church.
