*Michael, HAVE A HEART !!!!!For Valentines Day give Terri back to her MOM & DAD, The Schindlers!!!!!!!!*
The Terri Schindler Schiavo Daily Threads are created month to month as we watch local and national news regarding Terri and her family.
Since Terri's supporters are in every time zone, you may see something FIRST. Please share news with us that you don't see here already. Now, why would you want to do that? Terri's Daily Thread for September/October of 2004 was viewed over 15,000 times. Terri's November Daily Thread was viewed over 6,000 times. December's thread is over 3,000 views. January 2005 Daily Thread was a RECORD HIGH!!!!!!! 15, 103 VIEWS!!!!!!
More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.
Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.
Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.
Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.
See Terri's flash movies if you need more information. You can see for yourself that's she's interactive and follows the doctor's instructions.

NOTE: Terri's December Dailies are noted as a source above. There are lots of important links at the very top of that thread. If you missed Terri's Celebration of Life, you can click on it from there.
AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!
The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.

Terri Schiavo's Father Calls Legal Fight With Michael a Spiritual Battle Email this article

Clearwater, FL (LifeNews.com) -- The ongoing legal battle to save Terri Schiavo's life is one that some observers have called the "Roe v. Wade of euthanasia" because of its impact on the end of life issues debate. However, Terri Schiavo's father says the fight is also a monumental spiritual battle.
In an interview with Spirit Daily, a Catholic web site, Robert Schindler talks about how Terri's estranged husband Michael has frequently prevented Monsignor Thaddeus Malanowski from giving Terri communion or even visiting her to give her a blessing.
"He has the authority," Schindler said. "He literally owns her body. I don't really know why he doesn't allow Communion."
Schindler told the web site that Terri's Catholic faith is alive and she definitely reacts positively when Malanowski, former head of chaplains for the Pentagon, arrives in her hospice room.
"To show you how deep her Catholic faith is," says Schindler, "whatever distractions there are, she concentrates on monsignor solely and the different prayers he says with her. She is very attentive."
Schindler told Spirit Daily that he believes Michael is a Methodist, but that he does not attend church regularly.
Michael is currently living with Jodi Centonze, a Catholic, with whom he has had two children -- even though he is still legally married to Terri.
Schindler told the web site he sees a spiritual battle taking place and that he regularly prays to "drive the devils out of the courtroom."
"I can feel them and almost see them," Schindler said.
Still, he finds solace and comfort in knowing so many pro-life advocates are praying for Terri and for the Schindler family as they fight to prevent her starvation death.
"We came home one day and there was a bouquet of 24 roses, unsolicited, sent by Franciscan brothers in Minnesota," he told Spirit Daily. The flowers came at an especially crucial time in the case and were uplifting.
"Events that have occurred show that when we pray to Him, things happen," Schindler said.
"We go a day at a time," Schindler concludes. "We expect the worst and hope for the best. It's a day-to-day thing."

That's funny! Can't tell the difference between life and death, or war and peace. Thinks they are all one and the same. LOL
Terri is not dead. As a matter of fact, she demonstrates higher brain function than you do.
What about before that occurred?
And at random an inappropriate times.
Thank you for the link. Also, shame on you for not warning about the stupidity I was about to be exposed to. Those people are nuts!
I didn't realize you were in the room to witness what occurred before the video.
Terri responds at approriate times. Read the story about the surprise by her new female attorney who said that when she met Terri, she was surprised by her level of alertness and awareness, and also by her ability to respond.
He was a fly on the wall don't ya know!
We must be making more progress in saving Terri than I realized. I've noticed the trolls coming out in force, spreading lies even more than usual. They must be scared.
If you want to disrupt, there are a myriad of other threads to do it on. In other words, take a hike.
Because Michael has forbidden any efforts at rehabilitation.
I don't think half of the people on this site would be devoted to their spouse to stick around for a year. Most of you would be cheating the your spouse went into a comma.
I don't think anyone here would be opposed to Michael getting a divorce from Terri, or fault him for doing so. Indeed, many if not most of the people here would like to see him do precisely that. Legally, he became eligible to apply for a non-consensual divorce three years after his wife was incapacitated. So if wanted to free himself of Terri he could have done so ages ago.
That doesn't seem to be good enough for him, though. Why do you suppose that is? Some people have some suspitions, but what do you think?
Also, answer me this: do you believe that Michael would want Terri's condition to improve, if it were possible? Again, some people have some suspicions, but what's your opinion?
Thanks for the link, tutstar.
This from that link I find to be very, very interesting, because combined with the fact that one of Terri's nurses fed her jello, it looks like Terri doesn't even need a feeding tube (3rd paragraph here). She just needs therapy.
"At the initial trial in January 2000, the Schindlers' attorney at the time, Pamela Campbell, introduced into evidence a video of Terri made by a friend of her sister, Suzanne Schindler. It was shown on television news, and three doctors who saw it contacted Robert Schindler saying that they did not believe his daughter was in a persistent vegetative state, but that they wanted to examine her to be sure.
Schindler said he took each of them into her room, and they tested her reactions to stimuli. They found she was definitely not in a persistent vegetative state, that she was cognizant and could recognize her family, because when she saw members of her family she would smile and showed signs of recognition.
All three said they believed Terri had the ability to swallow because she was not drooling. The affidavits were sent to probate Judge George Greer requesting him to allow a swallowing test, which he summarily denied."

What is it with this Judge Greer? Perhaps he believes in the right to die, even if a person doesn't want to die.
It is totally beyond my comprehension that people look at a feeding tube as life support! People who have lost limbs or are paralyzer one way or the other have to be fed. How about Christopher Reeve? How was he fed?
I believe it's the pro death group who will fight this to the end. They want to use this case as an example and move to every other state in the Union.
By the way, anyone seen "Million Dollar Baby"? Strange how this is up for all kinds of awards at this time.
