Actually, Gondring, a feeding tube is not an extraordinary means of prolonging life, like a heart and lung machine, and therefore, no one has a right to make a decision to remove it and starve and dehydrate a person to death.

It is totally beyond my comprehension that people look at a feeding tube as life support! People who have lost limbs or are paralyzer one way or the other have to be fed. How about Christopher Reeve? How was he fed?

I believe it's the pro death group who will fight this to the end. They want to use this case as an example and move to every other state in the Union.

By the way, anyone seen "Million Dollar Baby"? Strange how this is up for all kinds of awards at this time.

Agreed. I was just discussing this very point today. Sometimes I view films even when I disagree with one or more of the messages. However, I have no intention of seeing "Million Dollar Baby."

Yes, the pro-death crowd will be fighting Terri's case to the bitter (or hopefully, not so bitter) end!
