I just heard on the radio the other evening (I think on the syndicated Glen Beck show) that a recent graduate from a high school had been killed in the line of duty in Iraq, and that the funeral procession would pass the soldier's high school.
The principal of the school refused to allow classes to officially break to let students and teachers pay their respects. IIRC, the soldier had just graduated the year before, so many at the school knew him.

If the principal destroyed letters that were sealed in envelopes with postage affixed, it's the end of that principal's career - and possibly some time in a federal prison.

Hannity wouldn't mention it unless Rush brought up the topic before Hannity's show. :)

Why do the libs HATE America and our military? They hate America because they are losers, and they hate that which by its mere existence points up the fact that they are losers.
They hate the military because it represents the necessity to defend oneself and one's rights by violence. Because they are too spineless and weak to even contemplate defending *themselves* by violent means, all of their self-esteem depends on their being able to deny that violence is ever necessary under any circumstances - and the mere existence of the military therefore strikes at the very foundation of what little self-esteem they have.

Tampering with the mail and destruction of private property comes to mind, followed by loss of job, jail-time and hopefully, a change of heart someday.

Then, the principal intercepted the letters written by soldiers in Iraq to the school children, and tore them up, saying she "didn't approve of the use of the term `Bad guys' in the letters." We're losing our minds. I mean that, literally.

Looks like an interesting business. You have mail.

You are to be commended for your commitment to due process.

If we want to combat the left we have to support the whistle blowers and people who stand up for freedom. Conservatives dont really do this. One of the reason that the homosexual activists have gotten so far is that they have well funded attack machines and financial supports for their point men.
I remember an account of a woman who stood upto local homosexuals in her area, she was villified in the press and the homosexuals pressured her husband's company to fire him. No rallying happened around this family, no supports came in, no legal team flew in...who wants to fight when you can be destroyed by leftists.

"Why do the libs HATE America and our military?"
Because they cannot compete with the integrity of great Americans and the real men and women who are the military. They hate America because we still have a set of values that most people honor and they hate our President who embodies those traditional values and also believes in God. The anti-American group does not want the standard set forth in the moral rules of our culture to exist because they do not want to be judged for living outside of those standards. Our military is symbolic of those standards and believes the freedom they represent is worth preserving and fighting for. Anti-Americans do not want freedom..They desire dictatorship chosen by their own. Our military is currently not only preserving our own freedom through fighting in Iraq but it is securing freedom for that nation, as well. When freedom spreads across the world, the anti's see their dreams dissolving. I have noticed that the anti-American attitudes around me comes basically from losers..people who sometimes have advanced degrees but seek sheltered positions so they can have a soapbox protected from any kind of real life competition. Many are self-appointed, self-ordained, self-proclaimed children of the affluent who never had to enter into real work, ever, in their lives. In some cases positions were bought for them. They are organized and they are loud which makes them look large. However, I would guess they are well into the minority, even now..Just my opinion.

Clearly, not only is this principal intercepting the letters, she is also reading mail which is addressed to someone else. This teacher should probably get the postal inspectors involved. The teacher could probably also ask the soldier to send all future mail to her own house as well.

I've got a question? Where the heck are the parents? They ought to be standing shoulder-to-shoulder with this teacher.

By Tuesday, this story will be out totally, in the local town. Most of the folks in the town are going to ask really stupid questions. Those foolish enough to answer with stupid answers...ought to be paging through the job ad's today...and look for new employment. Blogs rule this land now...and cast a long shadow.
