I just heard on the radio the other evening (I think on the syndicated Glen Beck show) that a recent graduate from a high school had been killed in the line of duty in Iraq, and that the funeral procession would pass the soldier's high school.

The principal of the school refused to allow classes to officially break to let students and teachers pay their respects. IIRC, the soldier had just graduated the year before, so many at the school knew him.

That was on the Kimmer Show. I thought he was going to have a coronary right there on his show.
