FReepers should start an email effort tonight that encourages every American, every lover of Freedom, to ink their right index finger BLUE tomorrow, as a sign of solidarity with the Iraqi people!

Great Idea! Is it too early for nominations for the "Best Idea of the Year" awards?

I think giving the terrorist the finger is a great idea for any future Freeps. It would remind everyone of the success in Iraq, and show solidarity with the Iraqis and the President.

I have heard that the middle finger salute (the bird) was started by the British when the french threatened to cut off the middle finger of captured Brits to prevent them from ever using a longbow again. the Brits showed them their middle finger to prove that they were ready and able to fight. maybe someday the blue-finger salute will be used by freedom loving people to show their oppressors that they want a republic and are willing to fight for it.
