Denzel has said alot of things that have made me mad, I thought he was a spoilt Liberal from hollywood.
But once in a while things like this supprise even Me.
Best story of the day. You would hope the MSM would mention it.
After going to your link, it appears that there is more credence to the veracity of this story than it being an urban legend.
Yes. It seems he visited there, he's a credible action hero kind of guy, so the rest probably follows. I rate it 95% probability. (He was great in "Man on Fire") Oye como va, baby.
He's a stand-up guy.
He's a big brother mentor and does work with the YMCA,I believe.
He's left-of-center politically, but not an irrational whiney child. He's a grown up.
I love that movie as well! Thanks Denzel!
kinda off topic, but i hated man on fire. it seemed like it would have been a very good movie if any camera shots lasted more than 1.5 seconds.
Not what I've heard. Most accounts put him as having Republican leanings. He is a church-going Christian.
Thanks for the link. When I saw it I thought OH NO another urban myth. Glad too see I was wrong.
There was a point when I considered Denzel Washington to be one of the best actors of this era and this was before he won the Oscar.
However, a couple of years ago he was on 60 Minutes before he won the Oscar.
He was bursting with pride when he said that he gets $16 million per movie.
In the very next breath he became angry and full of hatred and said that the "playing field wasn't level" and that he didn't get all of the big, romantic roles of the white male stars.
Kinda changed my opinion of him for him to be so hypocritical.....$16 Million.
