While Greta was talking about the "other Peterson" case I switched over to MSNBC. The reporter was mentioning the rocket attack o the embassy, but not one word that the attckers had been caught

My son watched those briefings during the first Gulf War when he was about 7 years old.

He was 19 when he served in this one......

remember the reporter who was always looking at himself in the lense or a mirror, when he thought he wasn't "on the air" but was live on the web cam, overlooking the traffic circle??

I still remember the scene of Baghdad Bob standing on the roof and claiming there were no Americans in Baghdad and seeing off in the distance behind him a M1 A1 tank chasing a fat Iraqi down the river bank.

Remember those news conferences too--and how well Schwartzkopf handled the lame reporters. Felt the same way you did, even tho I was very grateful the war was so short!

Here's the quote from Tom Jefferson that the judiciary across the land use to justify upholding total dishonesty in the media and in political speech!

Thanks for posting this, mdittmar.

hey Tex! a great celebration for Freedom eh? wish i had some fireworks handy.

Events such as this does not happen too often. But just think in less than a year in a few minutes we will have rendered aid to 2 countries in which the citizens of the 2 countries can rise up against the terrorist tyrants that suppressed them for far too many years.

For all that have speculated how the MSM will report this election---

A bunch of years ago a Dallas Cowboy football players, Michael Irvin got in some trouble with girls and drugs. It was while he was still playing so the local news people were glued to the guy---he couldn't go anywhere without a news camera in his face.

Well, one of the charges against him was false and he knew it, but with all of the previous bad publicity no one would believe him and the media just hounded him.

One day, he turned around when a cameraman was following him and he pointed at the media and said,"I hope, when I am found innocent of these charges, you will report THAT with the same intensity as you have been reporting the false charges. The very same intensity, you hear me?"

I'll never forget it, and I wish Bush would say something to that effect if this goes well---tell the press to report the successes in Iraq with the same INTENSITY as the so-called failures!
