Nashville, Tennessee..
THIS is what we're fighting for!
God Bless Iraq and America! Freedom for all who love peace and redemption!
The Staypuft man was a nice touch in that collage.
Just told my daughter to check out this thread. The Iraqi Elvis Impersonator voting in Nashville...great!
I've been watching the expats all day. This morning when they showed workers applauding as ballots were cast, I had to leave the room and find a kleenex. I wondered as I tried to clear the blurry TV screen, what my marine was thinking tonight. I wondered if he had any idea I was sitting here in the US crying over another nations right to vote. Does he really have any idea how great a thing it is they've done and will continue to do? Can he see the forest through the trees or does he only see insurgents and IED's? My nephew, my hero and one of Iraqs heros.
As Iraqi's go to the polls in the morning, pray for them. "Voter intimidation" should take on a new meaning to you.
That pic really, really tears me up. Going into my Iraq file
May God watch over your nephew, and I can never express enough thanks to him and all others for what they are doing over there!!
Thank you very much for your kind comments. It's so easy to express yourself when your soul is singing
Your nephew is one of our family's heroes as well. God bless him and his colleagues.
What an expression on their faces. So proud that they voted. Just amazing. This is the silent majority. Wonder what the MSM will say.
Ok Teddy. Try telling this man it's the wrong war at the wrong place at the wrong time.
It it possible to feel humility and pride at the same time.
great, must see pictures ping
Great purple finger shot!!
Getting all teary-eyed.
The left specializes in cynicism, disdain, hautiness;
But the human heart longs for joy, for triumph, for the victory of the good guys.
And our troops have bought this joy with their blood. I know they look down from on high, knowing that they could not have brought any greater gift than this heartfelt jubilation, this liberation.
I wish I had said that! And I think that's probably what the gentleman in #8 was thinking. Every senator and congressman should be forced to look at these incredible photos and then comment on what a disaster this has all been. Then everyone will know them for what they are. I'm sure there's no chance of Ted meeting all those guys upstairs! Blessings on all their loved ones.
The finger is dipped in ink to show they have voted. Trying to make sure they don't double vote. We'd never get by trying this for our own elections.
God bless your nephew and keep him safe and sound!
