Republican activist charged with shooting at workers 03:01 PM CST on Thursday, January 27, 2005 Associated Press WACO – A longtime Republican Party activist has been indicted on charges of shooting at workers cutting down trees at her Waco-area home. Carolyn Payne Lomax was indicted Wednesday on two counts of aggravated assault in a 2004 incident at her Woodway home. Authorities said the workers were trimming trees around utility lines when the incident happened. Lomax, 63, said no one from the company contacted her before workers – in her word – "butchered" her trees. She said she ordered the workers to leave, but they appeared to mock her in Spanish. After repeated pleas, Lomax said she went inside, got her .22-caliber handgun, and when the workers still refused to leave, she fired two or three shots and called police. The workers told police Lomax fired at them. If convicted of the second-degree felonies, Lomax faces up to 20 years in prison. (End of Article)

Ms. Lomax needs to spend some time at the local Pistol Range.

Lomax faces up to 20 years in prison

Yeah, right. A guy would do a 6 month county jail stint. She'll get a fine and probation.

Ah yes! You again!

Didn't you already have enough fun today ranting like a lunatic on the VA hospital thread?

Are you and your pal a tag team?

It does seem pretty extreme.

We've had some experience with the utility-hired tree "trimmers." They'll come onto your property unannounced claiming they have a "right" to "protect" their utility lines. Took a dead tree off the property line of a neighbor without so much as informing them. Neighbor was steamed and rightfully so because they made a mess out of the yard.

Independent cable company entered our yard. Came right thru the gate. Dogs barking in mid-afternoon was not unusual cuz dog next door who stays outside starts up and ours inside join in. One dog, tho, is very territorial. Looked out the window and here's this jerk walking around in the backyard. Asked what the heck he was doing there, mumbled something about having "tagged" all doors with notice "the week before." No one got notices. Had a few strong words for him. Told him he'd naturally want to sue me if he was bitten yet he entered without permission and without so much as even ringing the bell. It was obvious we were home with cars parked in the drive.

Cable company is just as bad.

Save your energy for the real trolls.

You really shouldn't be so paranoid! It's so very unbecoming!

No paranoia here, I've been here too long to let a troll get under my skin. You cried like a punk when anyone questioned your intentions and claimed people were "brutally" attacking you as you accused people of being drunk on "Listerine" and claimed I called you a liar. Now you call me a "Lunatic" on this thread. You Sir/Madame have been exposed for the Troll you are

Your Posting history speaks for itself
