Now I have to disagree. I would have used FUSE VT, and followed up with WP to complete the old "shake and bake".
I guess it is just a matter of style. :-)

Nearly all countries reject the United States' right to bear arms as a quirky and dangerous anachronismThis is a good illustration of why our country's form of government is designed to keep a stupid opinion held by a majority of the population from becoming enshrined in law.

Guess what, Manservant... you just got served... with the ZOT!

"You had only to listen to George W. Bush's Inaugural Address last week (invoking "freedom" and "liberty" 49 times) to appreciate just how deeply Americans still believe in this founding myth."
Uh... I think the MILLIONS and MILLIONS of foreigners who
annually immigrate both legally and illegally into the US might also believe in just such a "myth" as well. Feh.

I find it interesting that it is being hosted on another site as I'm the one who originally created it.

Actually I did. First used it on a
ZOT thread in May 2004. It's a GIF I created from a scene in
Trinity & Beyond. The file was originally named "AtomicAnnie.gif" but its size drained my bandwidth too fast so I had to stop using it.

I don't understand what opinion or who the majority is supposed to be. Help me out.I was thinking about foolish opinions in general, but what provoked the thought was that quote about how a majority of people in other countries were of the opinion that firearm ownership by individuals was a bad idea. Here, we have the concept that our rights are not subject to the whim of the majority (in theory, at least).
