A reporterette asks about troop withdrawl.
W: "Excuse me--"troop withdrawl"?
Reporterette: "Yeah, yeah--don't mess me up."
Laughter from the press.
Steely gaze from W.

'homeboy followeup'- A second question from a former Texas reporter.
President calls for order in the press room, black woman reporter shoots back with 'dont mess me up,' big laughs from the press core..

Somebody from a Texas outlet who has obviously crossed swords with the President when he was Governor.

Dr. Rice was correct. National security is the top priority of every American president.
Too bad we didn't get the context of Dr. Rice's comments.

I don't think she'll get a homegirl follow up.

James Reston, George Seldes, I.F. Stone, Tom Wicker-to a lesser degree-Robin Wright, etc., etc...
The list of reporters who are completely ignorant of the most elemental concepts of foreign policy could fill the Boston telephone directory.

This is not a quagmire. People like Ted Kennedy and company who claim it is are sleazoids of the highest degree!I'm in complete agreement. Thanks....very well said. ;o)

Second question from April about where he stands on civil rights. President says home ownership, education, etc. are civil rights.
Question about paying commentators. President says this is ended. All cabinet leaders are aware this is not our policy. Our ideas must stand on their own.

I don't think she'll get a homegirl follow up. Neither do I. There's a reason, I think, that she's sitting in the back row.

That's what I thought, too. President Bush made a reference to problem with property taxes in Texas to conclude their exchange.

They're already using stalling tactics to hold up the Gonzales nomination.
I'd be astonished if he was confirmed before Valentine's Day.
To: Mr. Silverback
Who is that guy who just said Reid and Hillary were divorced from reality - about economy and SS?
