Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., said Sunday that when the full Senate debates the nomination of Dr. Condoleezza Rice to be Secretary of State on Tuesday, she intends to repeat charges that Rice deliberately misled the nation about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
"I will lay out again on the Senate floor [why] I do not believe [she] has been candid with the American people," Sen. Boxer told CNN's "Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer."
"[She's] gone on shows like yours and made statements that I don't think were true, or they were half-true, didn't tell the whole story, didn't level with the American people."
Reacting to criticism from White House chief of staff Andy Card, who called her attacks on Rice "petty politics" last week, the Marin County Democrat taunted, "Even though Andy Card would like me to go away. I'm not going to go away."
"[Rice] said things that were flat-out not true," Sen. Boxer continued. "When she said only one agency thought the aluminum tubes could not be used for nuclear weapons, that wasn't true."
As she did during last week's hearings, the Bush administration critic justified her personal attacks on Rice by saying that the Iraq war is especially important to Californians "because we've lost 25 percent of those who died in Iraq."
According to OpinionJournal.com, however, the actual proportion of deaths of U.S. troops from California is 11.5 percent.
When is the State of the Union this year? Why the blackout?
I wondered who would carry the MoveOn banner after the election. So she tosses a bone to the fringe. Big deal.
And I'll call Boxer someone who in a saner era would have a difficult time heading her local PTA. ....again.

It amazes me how she can call Condi a liar and then turn around and make a statement like that.
Only a left wing nut like Boxer could do it.
"Boxer: I'll Call Condi a Liar Again"
You go girl. The Repuclicans can use the votes.
Boxer is obviously insane.
She's just playing to the folks over at DUmmie land, so she can go on-line and read about them calling her their hero.
Amazing how somone's veracity was not a problem when the Clinton's were in power.
If she's so interested in the truth ask her if she uses Botox, or whether she has ever been a member of the CP, how about of she has ever taken foreign money for voting a certain way...yeah, Babs, let's have a "Truth fest".
Is not a "check" a promise to pay (eg. the funds ARE in the account upon which the check is written)?
Is not Boxer, therefore, a liar when she wrote ALL those BAD checks?
She desires to be a kingpin, in the merry band to keep the dem party in control of its McGovern wing.
Nothing like making a fool of yourself twice on the same subject.
I'm still waiting for evidence Rice has lied about anything.
Boxer on the other hand has proven herself a liar already when insisting that the Iraq war resolution ONLY talked about WMD.
Boxer is only succeeding in making a fool out of herself.
Boxer loves the attention,
but she's no match for Condi Rice.
Anything Boxer says will get applause only by the lowlifes.
A Republican Senator needs to take her to task on the Senate floor. Read her the gosh darn bill and ask her after each whereas clause aski if that was strictly about WMD. Write your Senator and ask them to stand up for the truth - and file an ethics complaint.
In saying this, you insult all genuinely insane people by association.

We Californians are interested in Iraq, just not the way she means. Think I'll call my misguided senator and tell her that. Then I'll laugh and thank her for all the new Republican registrations.LOL
Me thinks the only thing Box is qualified for is group therapy.
Does the Washington D.C. SPCA still pick up rabid dogs?
Someone needs to give them a call and direct them to the U.S. Senate.
If Boxer thinks lying is so bad why does she continue to lie herself? Instead, Boxer makes herself out to be a hypocrite as well as a liar. No wonder the dims continue to reelect her...she fits their core values.
