That'll teach'em.
"...forced to listen to the Ring for weeks on end."
Anything but that! Hai-ya-ta-haya.
Germany has NO treat.
The War On Terror is made up and just in Bush's head.
On the 15 JAN they arrested more. Two months ago they arrested some who were planning to kill the interim PM of Iraq on his visit to Germany (Berlin).
Schroeder? Fischer? No comment. Isn't about time to say something about Abu Gahrib again gentlemen?
But last year Schroeder did say that the WOT was to distract from the appalling economic conditions in the US. Did you know there are 45 bazillion uninsured Americans? Gee, just think of our debt?
(Sarcasm off)
Germany at least is playing along under the table. But then again this help is because they see their own security at stake so they will help a little. However, we should not forget their betrayal of us.

It could be worse, it could be Schnappi the alligator.
Two suspected al-Qaeda members have been arrested in Germany, prosecutors have said.
The men are accused of planning suicide bomb attacks in Germany and Iraq.
The 29-year-old Iraqi and a 31-year-old Palestinian were detained during police raids in Mainz and Bonn, Federal Prosecutor Kay Nehm said.
The BBC's Ray Furlong in Berlin says the arrests come at a sensitive time, as US President George W Bush is due to visit Mainz next month.
More details soon.
It appears that they finally recognize the threat.

Schnappi the alligator? Was ist das? Lol. Must be dreadful.
In THIS country the torture is being forced to listen to Ethel Merman (Thars no business like show business!) or Whitney Houston (endless tuneless howling and yowling) tapes for hours on end.
Thank you for the ping piasa.
You can call the Polizei a lot of things...but they are definitely not idiots! As crazy as it sounds...I think they possess some kind of wierd Teutonic mojo. I swear they just appear out of nowhere when a crime is happening. It really is strange. Try getting away with something in Deutschland. I dare anyone!
The Germans were fighting in Afghanistan against Al Q. They still have forces stationed there. They know all about the threat from Al Q.
I didn't know that.
From what one reads in this country about Germany and Germans...they don't do anything to help us.
Nice to know they DO support us on the war on terror with German troops in Afghanistan; and have used the knowledge they have gained about UBL to deal with them in Germany. That helps us too.
Amaing, something positive about Germany right here on the fr. Will wonders never cease? < sarcasm >
Nice to hear something positive about the Germans.
Nice change of pace here on the fr.
Well.. that really is a shame. Germany has been supporting the US in the WOT everywhere with the single exception of Iraq. Germany has got ships in Africa, protecting the Horn of Africa, soldiers in Afghanistan (including crack commandos at the start of the campaign). In fact the Bundeswehr (which is far to small) is really thin stretched.
Oh please, my husband's boss' house got robbed when we lived there and the police basically told him they'd never catch the guy.
And his co worker got mugged. Same situation. This safe Europe is a delusion.
Germany Nabs 2 Suspected al-Qaida Members
Sunday January 23, 2005 8:31 PM By MATT SURMAN Associated Press Writer
BERLIN (AP) - German police arrested two suspected al-Qaida members Sunday believed to have plotted a suicide attack in Iraq - with a side venture in insurance fraud, taking out a policy on the suicide bomber to use the money to fund the terror organization. The chief suspect, 29-year-old Iraqi Ibrahim Mohamed K., is also believed to have tried to obtain nearly two ounces of uranium in Luxembourg.
He also ``played a not unimportant role in al-Qaida, because he showed signs of contact with Osama bin Laden and met with Ramzi Binalshibh,'' one of the plotters of the Sept. 11 terror attacks in the United States, chief federal prosecutor Kay Nehm told reporters.
The Iraqi, a resident of Mainz, was arrested on suspicion of recruiting suicide attackers in Germany and providing logistical help to al-Qaida, Nehm said.
The other suspect, a 31-year-old Palestinian, identified as Yasser Abu S., was allegedly recruited by the Iraqi to be a suicide bomber in an attack in Iraq. The Palestinian is a Bonn medical student, who was born in Libya and has an Egyptian passport, Nehm said.
Prosecutors said the Iraqi took out a $1 million life insurance policy on the medical student, who was then to fake his death in a car accident in Egypt. The majority of the insurance payoff was to fund al-Qaida activities, they said.
After the faked death, the Palestinian was to go to Iraq to carry out a suicide bombing, the prosecutor said.
Nehm said the Iraqi trained multiple times in camps in Afghanistan before the attacks. He then spent more than a year in Afghanistan fighting American forces after the U.S.-led invasion of the country, he said.
His contact with high-ranking leaders of the terrorist organization ``convinced him not to seek the original aspiration of martyrdom as a suicide attacker, but rather to recruit suicide attackers in Europe,'' prosecutors said in a statement.
Prosecutors said they could provide no more details on the Iraqi's effort to get nuclear material, and that so far they have not pinned down the allegations.
Germany has cracked down on suspected terrorist and extremist activity since the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks on the United States, which were planned in part by a terrorist cell in Hamburg.
On Jan. 12, police took 22 suspects into custody during nationwide raids on a network of Muslim extremists that turned up militant Islamic propaganda and forged passports.
In December, police arrested three suspected members of the Ansar al-Islam terror group who allegedly planned to attack Iraqi Prime Minister Ayad Allawi during a visit to Berlin.
In October, authorities arrested Syrian-German businessman and suspected key al-Qaida financier Mamoun Darkazanli on a European warrant. Spanish authorities accuse him of providing al-Qaida with logistical help, and the United States labeled his Hamburg-based trading company a front for terrorism.
"You'll never get your stuff back, and we're not going to spend any effort on this, so you may as well just suck it up", the local police basically said. Not to be too critical of them, because where we were, they had much tougher problems to solve, namely murders and narcotics problems.
Of course, a show of scrutiny or of threatened force doesn't ~guarantee~ security... You don't say if the boss was home or not when he was robbed in Germany --but-- if he was at home, and had some American-style 2A self-defense tools, maybe it would have made a difference.
Yes, it is a shame. You won't see THAT in our media here or here in the fr. There is so much Europe bashing, especially France and Germany. I never know why Germany is included in the litany of hate but it ussually seems to be. I dunno why. I've always liked Germany and what few Germans I've met.
Why does the Horn of Africa need protecting? What's the danger to the U.S. or Germany there?
Is the Buneswehr (professional volunteer army, I think) considered by OTHER Germans as an honorable profession? And is it well-paid? Just curious.
Danke.
