[history]
She is dizzy, almost wobbly. Her head aches, her coughing won't stop, and because she doesn't have enough money she has not filled her four prescriptions nor seen a doctor recently.
But that doesn't stop her.
Soon it will be midnight, and Ipifania Dominguez will be back at work cleaning up blood, bone and fat in the world's largest pork slaughterhouse. She'll be back in the "head room," as she calls it, where meat is cut from pigs' heads.

Bingo. A point that many of the illegal lovers refuse to acknowledge.

One issue, they are here illegally, and to hire them, suppressing wages for Us citizens is a crime. I support law and order and as for you I would not want someone such as you watching my back either. Someone who openly encourages the violation of federal law for finacial gain.
Well your point will be moot once the President's agenda is implimented and they are given guest worker status. At that point you'll either be on board, or you'll have to resort to some 'other' objection. Based on your comments, I suspect it will be the latter.

thought we had a similar story not long ago. What do they do change the name and where they work and rehash this story.

One thing you certainly share with many others on this thread is a contempt for business and a love for government. Are you sure you're in the right place? My, that is an ugly reply. Why the nastiness? Are you fearful or hateful?
I have read your hyperbole on this thread, accusing all posters here who are anti-illegal of being racist and hate-filled and accusing Americans of being lazy.
Do you hate Freepers that much? Do you hate America that much? Or do you fear losing cheap labor?
To: ClintonBeGone
The president will not win this battle. Not a chance in hell. But keep dreaming if it makes you happy.

And why not ? Historically, labor unions had an agenda of high wages for non-college educated Americans. It created the blue collar middle class of the 50's and 60's. What's wrong with that ?
Because the labor union agenda is contrary to the free market. Why not simply raise the minimum wage to $20 an hour so we all live well? See the ignorance in this theory?

There is nothing phonier than the "compassion" or "anti-racism" of an OBL type. It's about breaking the law and milking the taxpayer to line their pockets.

Hey - I'd like to become a desperate immigrant to America! I'm a Conservative white heterosexual Catholic, any room for me??? I have 10 years experience in the computer industry and I just loooooooooooooove country music!!!
To: Dad2Angels
I beg to differ. Poll after Poll indicates that most of us want illegal immigration to be stopped.
That certainly wasn't the case in this past election. Remember, liberals rely on polls. Conservatives rely on elections.

Most of what I read about black people involves crime. Therefore, the common face of African Americans is a criminal one.

This entire problem of illegal immigration is something that would never have happenned in the heyday of the labor movement and didn't either because Reuther, Hoffa, and Meany had the power to smash cheap labor, OBL types like bugs.
Organized labor - the same bunch that wanted to allow the employees of the Department of Homeland Security to turn our national security over to the labor bosses. Ask Max Cleland how well that went over with the voters.

I know what you mean. I lost my job as a nuclear physicist, because of all the damn minimum wage nuclear physicists teeming across our border. You may feel superior to alot of Americans, but there are uneducated Americans who find that labor jobs are not beneath them and are having their jobs stolen from them and wages reduced by illegals.
Unless of course, you also believe that Americans are lazy and don't want to do these jobs.
To: TXBSAFH
Loose the illegals and the wages will go up. When wages go up more and more people look to those job favorablyRepeal all minimum wage laws and fewer illegals would find jobs here.

Unless you're privvy to info we're not, the President's plan will remain as dead as it was last year.
