And why not ? Historically, labor unions had an agenda of high wages for non-college educated Americans. It created the blue collar middle class of the 50's and 60's. What's wrong with that ?
Because the labor union agenda is contrary to the free market. Why not simply raise the minimum wage to $20 an hour so we all live well? See the ignorance in this theory?

See the ignorance in this theory?I know the thought of blue collar Americans earning above Third World levels is anathema to you, but what is wrong about labor providers working together to create a labor shortage that will drive up wages but in your view right about labor consumers breaking the law to create a labor glut that will drive down wages ? Aren't both using political power to control the market ?

Aside from government employee unions, the days of the unions having the upper hand in the free market place are long gone.
