When it opened two months ago, Bill Clinton's presidential library was supposed to draw so many visitors that the city of Little Rock would become a tourist mecca.
However early reports claiming that over 100,000 had visited in just the first six weeks have turned out to be bogus.
The National Archives and Records Administration, which operates the facility, tells U.S. News & World Report that only 42,054 paid to enter. The rest were guests of the former president and freebies to VIPs. Despite wall-to-wall television coverage of its opening, and a deluge of favorable press, attendance figures for the $162 million compound are even less than the attendance at the Reagan and Bush 41 libraries immediately after they opened.
"I thought it would be better," a disappointed Clinton told the magazine.

I was referring to Hitlary. LOL
Don't forget 4 or 5 dogs under the porch and an old pick up on blocks..........hehehehehe.
EXACTLY!!!
I bet the architechs who designed it were Republicans. LOL As for the money he raked in, we didn't really expect him to spend it on a silly library, did we? "Hey guys, just throw it up as cheap as you can. Its good enough for the peasents who adore me and will flock in here."
A Lewinsky dress display with an altar and a kneeling rail for Hillary and other Clinton worshippers can make a difference.
I know who you were referring to :-) I was just being a smart aleck. Woof!
Guess he needs to drop $100 bills around the place.
They should consider adding the El Camino with Astro Turf and the Roger Clinton Live in North Korea video as well.
You are right and if you look even furthur back to another Democrat who really started the ball rolling with this jihad thing, look to none other then Jimmah Cahter who refused to protect the Shah of Iran from the Islamist thugs when it would have been so easy at the time to nip terrorism in the bud.
LOL
I have a brother who lives in Arkansas and he told me that the area around this Clinton library is an industrial park with old, sagging buildings around it...not a very pleasant area....
This is the best description of the liebrary that I've read. The first thing that comes to mind is "money laundering".
Please post the pics when you get a chance.
The low attendance was due in part to the revulsion of having your feet stick to the floor as you toured a replica of the Oval Office, and the danger of tripping over the assorted used transmissions and junked cars strewn about.
The propaganda press kept telling us that Bubba was a beloved president with 65% approval ratings. Well, the turnstile tells no lies. One McDonalds will see more people walking thru the door to buy a burger in one week than will pay to see the Slick Willy show in a month.
Bring on cobwebs and set them on the door.
Well, the Clinton Administration was extremely dissapointing to me!
Mark
You ain't kidding.
And just out of curiosity, and speaking of the liebrary, anyone know how much space is devoted to the subject of terrorism? Just curious.
And it still looks like a trailer to me.
Just like the eight years under el slicko, his legacy continues to be trash.
Ha, just heard Fox and Friends talking about this.
Steve Doocy said "they" (the clintonistas) initially spun (I say "lied") that over 100,000 had gone through in the first six weeks but, said Steve, that turned out to be not exactly true (shocker of the day...not) and only 42,000 have dropped in.
So ED (while they're talking, scenes from the trailer/library are being shown) says she has one of the inauguration plates they just showed, then defends the low attendance that is much less than the rates after the opening of the Reagan and Bush 41 libraries, as "harder to get to". Yes, I've always heard that Little Rock is SOOOOOOOOOOO hard to get to.
Good grief, sometimes I could shake her she is so stupid.
More evidence of the constant lies we've been told over the years about how "popular" the big creep is.
