Correction or Cover-up? (WA State Election)

There were two deadlines for voter registration before the November 2, 2004 election: Mail-in registrations were due on Oct 2. In-person registration was still permissible through Oct. 18. Voters who missed the Oct. 2 deadline but registered by the 18th could only vote absentee. Anybody who missed the Oct. 18 deadline was not eligible to vote on Nov. 2.

Along these lines here's an interesting phenomenon in the King County voter list.

In the Dec. 29 version of the list, there are 70 voters who registered between 10/3 and 10/18. 4 are recorded as voting absentee, 66 are recorded as provisional. There are 35 voters recorded as having registered after 10/18, all of whom are recorded as voting provisional on Nov. 2.

The Jan. 7 version of the list shows only 12 voters who registered between 10/3 and 10/18 (2 absentee, 10 provisional), and 1 who registered after 10/18 (provisional).

Comparing the database versions record by record confirms that dozens of registration dates were changed between Dec. 29 and Jan. 7. Nearly all of the changes were backdates to 10/2 or earlier.

It is not clear why this was done. Were these simple corrections to fix earlier data entry errors, or was this a cover up to hide evidence of votes cast by ineligible late registrants?

I'll contact the King County Elections office on Tuesday to ask for an explanation. But you know that if (a) these changes were above board, and (b) King County Elections was competently managed, they would have issued a memo explaining all such changes to the voter list at the time they released the list.

[A big hat tip to reader Brian E., a database programmer who is doing his own analysis of the voter lists, and alerted me to the changes in voter registration dates. ]

Rossi was on Hannity and Colmes a few days ago and the liberals on there were telling him to be gracious like Al Gore and congratulate his opponent! And they said that unlike Gore, Rossi at least got a full re-count! I sure hope this is not as hopeless as it appears. Who will support a challenge of this election's vote totals in such a liberal state?

This is disgraceful! At least, a Congressional investigation will be able to throw the words of the filthy dems in Congress back at them during this search for fraud. The only positive about the whole thing is Ohio. The black thugs in Michigan and Ohio KNOW they paid for the same kind of fraud in Ohio and it DIDN'T work and they still don't know why. I do! The union officials and black precinct workers stuck the cash intheir own pockets and didn't pay voters to vote ALL those fake registrations. The beauty is that dems did to dems what the dems try to do to us all!

WA used to know who to run an honets election as well. Then one day, about 20 years ago, the liberals/socialists took over the state and poof, here we are. The moral of the story is, don't elect liberals/socialiats to goverment office!

According to the election rules, if the Dec. 29 list (the first version) is correct, those 66 + 35 votes should have been disallowed. King County needs to say whether they were allowed or not. King County also needs to explain why the list was changed between Dec. 29 and Jan. 7.

Was the list revised after the 2nd count, yet before the 3rd count? If so, that's a smoking gun of at least some of the illegality. Anybody know when the 3rd recount began?

You know, I don't give a rip about the "origin" of anyone with a good plan (as long as he has acceptable bona fides) -- I only care about the plan itself. I'd be as happy about the participation of, say, a Frenchman in the liberation of this country as I would of a Nebraskan to organize a bunch of mossbacks to victory.

Then start by organizing and DO NOT make this Bitch's "Governership" Easy. Your GOP does not have to cooperate with her for NOTHING! MAKE HER LIFE AND HER PARTY A LIVING HELL! Everything that she signs take it to court and make the statepay for the defense!
