'Pretty boy' plays fame card on bail

January 3, 2005

A MAN who said he was "too pretty" to go to jail now claims he is too famous to adhere to the conditions of his bail.

Timothy Leigh Hall, 21, was carrying a copy of an article published in The Daily Telegraph last week which detailed his theatrics in court on Boxing Day when trying for bail.

When he was picked up for allegedly breaching bail conditions for a malicious damage charge last week, Hall told the court the "hardened criminal element of jail would not be suitable for this blond-haired boy".

Hall was behind bars again on Saturday. He was charged with breach of bail for failing to report daily to police.

Hall produced the article in Parramatta Bail Court yesterday and waved it at Registrar Paul Gardiner, saying he could not go into custody as he was sure inmates had it and his photo "pinned up in their cells".

"I'm not here for public show or to perform. I'm in here because I want my freedom," Hall said.

Hall, of Quakers Hill, allegedly told police "I don't have any bail conditions. I'm famous".

Police prosecutor Kim MacNaught asked that bail be refused.

"If you recall he's the man who said he was too pretty to be bail-refused, now he believes he's too famous to report to police," Sgt MacNaught said.

Mr Gardiner granted strict conditional bail, reporting to Blacktown police three times a week. If he doesn't, or fails to appear in Penrith Local Court this month, he will forfeit $1000.

No doubt this kid is a self-absorbed idiot, but why some people think jailhouse rape is funny is beyond me.

It's simple: They're psychopathic.

Especially when you consider that in order for one prisoner to be accorded the "additional punishment" a homosexual rapist is being rewarded. The rapist has usually committed a far worse crimes then the recipient of his attention.

I don't understand why we have set up homosexual rape camps and called them prisons...but like you said some seem to enjoy that idea.

I guess if he is too pretty for jail, and too famous to be expected to adhere to bail conditions, we have no other choice than to stuff him into a sack and drown him, like the unwanted mewling kitten he is.
