I'm sorry for the loss, which is a loss to us all, but specifically to those who were so close to him. I'm grateful that he had such caring people around him, and I hope that his family and friends are aware that his service was appreciated and we feel for them upon hearing this sad news.

After serving two tours to Iraq, Eric returned home this past fall. He was here in time for elections and proudly displayed his "Veterans for Bush" sticker on his car. On January 2nd, 2005, Eric and his friend were driving in San Bernadino, back to Twenty-nine Palms military base, when they got in a car accident. Eric was 20 when he died, Rest in peace, hero.
