Anan isn't incompetent - he is the greatest thief and con artist the world has ever known. His problem is he figured he wouldn't get caught. Little did he think that the US would have book keepers looking over the books in Baghdad confirming the massive fraud that the Oil for Food program really was. In this he and Bill The Rat have a lot in common - both are conniving, thieving, sex-crazed scam artists. If that is the criteria for the Secretary Generalship, then BJ is a natural. Bill could get around the problem with the permanent Security Council seat by renouncing his citizenship. I think there might be a vacancy in Zimbabwe soon.

I don't think I believe the part about it being Kofi's idea for the secret meeting---

Holbrooke was one of the main Kerry guys up for a cabinet position so I'm thinking maybe he and the other losers say another way to extend the Bush bashing. If I remember correctly, on one of the last days of the campaign, Holbrooke said something on Fox News that hurt Kerry's campaign (can't remember what now-senility).

Personally I don't want even the remotest possibility that Bubba is U.N. head and Hillary is president. Talk about a nightmare scenario....

A great idea...it will keep Clinton very busy and not have so much time for the Hildebeast's campaign....and was that Bush's motive in getting Clinto to head the raising relief aid fund?

Bush's motive in involving Clinton in the tsunami relief effort is simple: Clinton can tap a lot of money.

A LOT of money!

The UN is a worthless, ineffective organization. Putting Clinton in as General Secretary wouldn't make it any less worthless or ineffective, and would, as you say, tie him up at least through 2008.

Personally, I don't have any problem with it. Certainly he can't be any worse than Kofi.

DOes that statement refer to Coffee or WJC? Could apply to both!

I thought it applied to all three of them!

Luckily, all's well that ends well. I so rarely watch O'Reilly, but husband had it on to see this interview I guess. He usually can't stand O'reilley either.

Yet another reason I am happy to ignore this irrelivant MSM illiterate.

The replacement must be without scandal, not plagued by scandal. It is bonehead suggestions like this that only confirm OReily is a liberal at heart.

... BUTROS-BUTROS BUBBA

I like it; however, B-B-B isn't looking very healthy these days. I'm not sure he's "up" to doing much.

Oh yeah, sure. Who better to head the U.N. but the liar-in-chief who pardoned the fugitive that was involved up to his neck in the U.N. oil for food scandal.

O'Reilly occasionally loses his friggin mind......about once a month.

Sorry folks, but O'Reilly is dead on with this, almost! I strongly support making Klynton head of the UN, and then promptly kicking the UN the HELL OUTTA THE US! Two birds with one stone.

Actually, if BC got the job of UN chief, I think it would go against Hillary---

There are a lot of people that really don't like her, even dems and wouldn't like the idea of voting her as President IF Clinton is head of UN. Too much power between them.

As far as not being legal for BC to be Head of UN--that doesn't stop some people--look at the ones wanting to change constitution just so Arnold can run for President.

You are so right, I saw him on TV Monday night and Bill Clinton LOOKS TERRIBLE, LIKE HE IS SERIOUSLY ILL, LIKE HE HAS AIDS OR ANOTHER STD. He does not look healthy at all. That said, Billy O is out of his mind supporting Clintoon to head up the UN.

Just these posts give me heartburn.

Well it turns out that Clinton is not eligible for that job.
A few weeks ago in a similar discussion of this it turns out that those countries that have permanent seats on the Security Council are not eligible to have people from their countries as the U.N. Sec.-Gen.
In the entire history of the U.N. there has never been a Sec-Gen from a major western nation.
So unless the UN wants to change the rules Clinton will not be the head of the UN. You would think as a journalist O'Reilly would know this.
