The 5 categories are Economics, Government, War and Peace, Success, and Education. Too many to list them all here, some favorites:
Ronald Reagan One hundred nations in the UN have not agreed with us on just about everything that's come before them, where we're involved, and it didn't upset my breakfast at all.
Mark Twain Never let your schooling interfere with your education.
John Stuart Mill War is an ugly thing but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feelings which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
Zell Miller They claimed Carter's pacifism would lead to peace. They were wrong. They claimed Reagan's defense buildup would lead to war. They were wrong.
Ronald Reagan To compare Congress to drunken sailors is an insult to drunken sailors.
William F. Buckley I'd rather entrust the government of the United States to the first 400 people listed in the Boston telephone directory than to the faculty of Harvard University.
Winston Churchill I contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle.
Lizavetta Modern liberalism requires everyone to look different but think the same.
Adam Smith It is the highest impertinence and presumption, therefore, in kings and ministers to pretend to watch over the economy of private people, and to restrain their expense. They are themselves, always, and without any exception, the greatest spendthrifts in the society.

I'd highly recommend the Rumsfeld one. :)
Any other good ones I'm missing tell me and ill add to the list.

I like this one too, from 'The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt':
"[Promising] ..to hang, burn, or drown any man that will ask for public improvements at the expense of the County."
- 1st Edict passed by the Billings County (South Dakota Terr) Council April 12th 1886
BTTT
Quotes were great!
I just wish they would have picked a better name for their website.
I'm sick of Neo anything.
Well, you just might find a few on THIS page...
The only problem is that none of the quotations are sourced. There are a lot of a bogus quotations circulating these days and it always makes sense to provide citations to screen these out.
Well, Roosevelt was no conservative but I currently like this one because I find it a little sarcastic/hypocritical considering current affairs.
"The pacifist is as surely a traitor to his country and to humanity as is the most brutal wrongdoer."
-Theodore Roosevelt
ya, it was just too time consuming to go through and cite each one. I am pretty sure they are legit tho, I was careful for the reason you state.
This is my favorite Rumsfeld quote:
"I stand for 8-10 hours a day. Why is standing limited to four hours?"
questioning why terror suspects were not to be made to stand for more than 4 hours a day
Ann Coulter (paraphrased?):
"Whenever the nation is under attack, from within or without, liberals always side with the enemy".
LOL! First time I've heard that one.
"Giving money and power to government is like giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys."
PJ O'Rourke
Thanks. Good job.....though I still think including cites make sense especially since so many quotations these days are impossible to track down.
