Sorry to hear that John. We lost my father-in-law on December 2 to a heart attack. He was 59. In March, my wife's father-in-law passed away from a heart attack sitting on the front porch waiting for his wife, my mother-in-law to get home, so I know all about unexpected deaths.

Prayers will be lifted up to you and your family.

Prayers, john, for the soul of your father, and for you. God helps us bear all wounds, some of which do not quite heal.

Sorry. Hope this provides comfort:

Where The Roses Never Fade

I am going to a city where the streets with gold are laid where the tree of life is blooming and the roses never fade

Here they bloom but for a season soon their beauty is decayed I am going to a city where the roses never fade

Loved ones gone to be with Jesus in their robes of white array now are waiting for my coming where the roses never fade

Here they bloom but for a season soon their beauty is decayed I am going to a city where the roses never fade

It's sad to hear of the loss of your father. Lost my mom a couple of years ago, and it still hurts. Best wishes to you and your family as you go through this painful period in your lives.
