...where he gave away a "woodie" Care to explain?
Proxmire gave away his "golden fleece" award to distract from the milk/cheese/mohair/agriculture subsidies.
What was McCain trying to do?
To: Calvin Locke
I'm talking about the guy who wrote the article, Grant Woods. He gave away "woodie" awards on his radio show.
I didn't like him because it was pretty obvious he got on the air from some kind of local political wrangling, and replaced a guy I liked, Bob Mohan (ex Navy A4 driver)

McCain does not have the right stuff. End of explanation

Was McCain just reelected in 2004?
I cannot figure out why people vote in the same candidates again and again. McCain was definitely popular in 2004, but I simply could not figure out why.
I can't figure out why Kennedy and Kerry keep getting votes around here either for that matter.

Over 50 ha.
Well maybe over 50 and under 51.
And the few who will go for anyone who is from their state.
To: Radix
Yes, he was. I can't figure it out either. My parents think he is wonderful. Can you tell they are not what you would consider to be conservatives? They think he tells it like it is. It's no use trying to reason with them on this matter.

(Vote NO for Napolitano in 2006!!!)
To: narby
Not to mention Grant is rather conceited. Is his wife still living part-time in CA doing her bimbo reporter job?

Frankly, I'm amazed that Napolitano won in the first place.
If it weren't for her-apparent-Italian ancestry, she-most likely-would have been blown out of the water by Congressman Salmon.

Particularly considering the fact that Janet enjoys snacking on bearded tuna, if you know what I mean. ;-)
