Great (and clever) move!
Interesting, but smacks of the Ukraine. Who's going to poison Rossi?
Bet she say no.
Ping.
Good move by Rossi but she'll probably refuse.....since she 'found' more votes. Hope the WA GOP keeps on fighting this....there needs to be a revote.....especially since Rossi won all of the machine recounts!

Asking questions
Republicans are demanding a list of voters in Washington state's most populous county as the party considers a court challenge of Democrat Christine Gregoire's razor-thin victory in the governor's race, officials said Monday.
A hand recount put Mrs. Gregoire ahead by 130 votes out of 2.8 million cast. Previous counts had favored Republican Dino Rossi, a former state senator.
Chris Vance, state Republican Party chairman, said officials will decide whether to challenge the recount results after studying the voter rolls from King County, a Democratic stronghold that includes Seattle.
"We're mostly posing questions," he said. "King County is where we saw the votes changing. King County is the one county that was allowed to take ballots that were declared dead in November and bring them back to life in December."
Democrats accused the Republicans of being on "a fishing expedition" and urged them to concede or risk damaging Mr. Rossi's political future by dragging out an election already eight weeks old.
State officials will certify the statewide hand recount tomorrow, declaring Mrs. Gregoire, a three-term attorney general, the victor, the Associated Press reports.
The latest tally included 732 disputed ballots from King County, which the state Supreme Court last week ruled could be counted despite objections from Republicans. The ballots had been mistakenly thrown out because of problems scanning signatures into a computer.
Mr. Vance said any voter can contest the election within 10 days of certification.
"Overwhelmingly, from the grass roots of the party, the feeling is 'Don't give up. Keep fighting,' " he said.

Not a bad idea. Too bad he didn't propose it BEFORE falling behind in the count. He should have know what King County was going to pull.
It is over.
Thats slick? Why would anyone go for that? I want Rossi to win but thats like be like Bush asking Gore in 2000 to revote New Mexico becuase he only lost by a few hundred votes. Not really a good idea.
If there is one he'll lose by a wide margin. Better to fight the battle you might win... the "found" votes in King County.
Dino has a back bone BUMP
The right thing to do!
She will claim the people have spoken and ask him to step aside to the will of the voters. Guaranteed. Like almost every Democrat, she's a megalomaniac.
This won't work...but we'd all have to be arrogant or nuts not to realize that Rossi knows this better than all of us. Perhaps he is hoping for an over-reaction on her part, and given her craven arrogance, it could happen.
At stake is not just the governor's mansion. The stake is the ability to govern with a mandate.
A revote will give the winner a clear mandate.

short news ping
The only County that appoints its' election officials is King County, the rest are elected.
shall we hold our breath, waiting for her answer?
How is this a slick move?
We need to assiduously avoid to falling into the legal quagmire of endless recounts and do-overs that the Left is gaming for. For, once the Republicans jump in, how can they then legitimately refuse do-overs whenever Democrats lose close races in the future?
Of course, Democrats are going to cheat. This is because their core beliefs, if honestly communicated, will always be rejected by rational people. Thus they must constantly resort to subterfuge in order to stay in the game.
They of course have their dutiful helpers -- MSM, unions, "the world community", the courts, etc. But, having been losing ground for years, they are now foaming at the mouth with insanity.
This is why they ever more rely upon fomented election controversy, followed by "recount" (= handling the ballots) -- the tried-and-true-old-Democrat machine methods of cheating the system. And they lose some (Fla 2000) and they win some (Washington 2004).
The disruptors need society at large to acquiesce to do-over elections. This gives them one more arrow for their quiver -- but, at at time when they are LOSING THE WAR.
Turnout is the answer (as proven in Fla2000 and Ohio2004).
Thus, it's really too bad for Washington State. I wonder, how many Republicans and conservatives failed to show up in the Washington election? How many votes would this have given Mr. Rossi? We turn out, and the Democrats lose. That is the formula that works.
I would prefer that these "do-over" advocates stand down, as they have lost this round. Perhaps they can turn their efforts into increasing conservative/Republican turnout in the next election.
BTW, I in no way mean to suggest that legitimate cases of vote fraud should not be investigated.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.
