The Terri Schindler Schiavo Daily Threads are created month to month as we watch local and national news regarding Terri and her family.
Since Terri's supporters are in every time zone, you may see something FIRST. Please share news with us that you don't see here already. Now, why would you want to do that? Terri's Daily Thread for September/October of 2004 was viewed over 15,000 times. Terri's November Daily Thread was viewed over 6,000 times. December's thread is over 3,000 views.
More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.
Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.
Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.
Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.
See Terri's flash movies if you need more information. You can see for yourself that's she's interactive and follows the doctor's instructions.

NOTE: Terri's December Dailies are noted as a source above. There are lots of important links at the very top of that thread. If you missed Terri's Celebration of Life, you can click on it from there.

Yeah, right! [O.J. and Nicole], [Scott and Laci], I mean Michael and Terri. Yeah, that's right...It's just between them.
The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast has Hospice Woodside in its network of facilities.
George Felos was their chairman of the board when Terri was transferred there in 2000 without necessary court approval.
They mention Soros (project on death) on one of their older pages: http://www.thehospice.org/caregiv/clelinks.htm.
Felos had at one time on his web site a downloadable profile of himself. He stated he was a member of Hemlock Society.
And it's such a fair fight, too! I mean, one middle-aged man, with all his strength, brainpower, wit, and access to the tools of medical care and legal power, versus one woman trapped in a bed, immobile, without the ability to speak, and forbidden to try to feed herself... How noble his efforts! How just his cause! (/sarcasm off)
You're absolutely right - when you say this is about a handicapped woman - no one wants to talk about that but this is more than a "right to die" case.
Ever since abortion became legal in all stages of development to the moment of birth of an unborn child in 1973, we have had the mentality that people are dispensible and that if they cost the state too much we should let them go under the guise of "death with dignity" and "quality of life."
It's all about money!!!
Whether in abortion - right to die - or this case of Terri!
The troubling thing is that little ones who are defenseless will also be hurt by this decision. See the article this last week of such a baby named Sun Hudson in Houston: http://www.khou.com/news/local/stories/khou050125_mh_babysun.4244b4dc.html
It could be our child next!
Pre-existing or post Attorney Gibbs????
Fla AG Crist doesn't even need to wait for Governor Bush to open a civil rights or criminal fraud investigation re: Terri. She was robbed of over $600,000, and her civil rights have been grossly violated. CRIST IS THE STATE'S HEAD PROSECUTOR. WHY DOESN'T HE JUST GET IT OVER WITH? He'll never be governor if he doesn't help Terri by getting started.
Juan, the Civil Rights Office for Crist is in Fort Lauderdale. Maybe we should skip Crist altogether and JUST CONTACT THE FORT LAUDERDALE FLA AG'S OFFICE CIVIL RIGHTS directly.
Then THEY WILL SAY "HAS TO COME FROM CHARLIE CRIST, say back "well, then you best tell him PLEASE. We are waiting for this to be investigated.
Refer Fort Lauderdale Civil Rights to www.theempirejournal.com and to www.terrisfight.org and www.worldnetdaily.com.
Hugs were delivered after the hearing yesterday.
Another similarity: Michael and Bin Laden are BOTH HIDING. Can't you just feel the love? Michael won't even go to court yet he wants SO BADLY TO STAND UP FOR TERRI'S RIGHT TO BE MURDERED BY MEDICAID.
Michael has been in this case AFTER ATTORNEY BUSHNELL TOLD GEORGE FELOS that there was a big malpractice settlement in Pinellas County and they introduced themselves to him and convinced Michael that they had a plan...There is documentation in letter form of Bushnell writing to Felos about a large medical malpractice settlement. FACT NOT FICTION. TERRI WAS SET UP imo.
The left wing has new PRO CHOICE MARRIAGE VOWS.
WE ALL thank you!
POINTS OF LIGHT AWARD from Governor Bush
This week's Points of Light recipient is PASTOR LARRY BOLDIN OF FORT WALTON BEACH Congratulations Pastor Boldin!
ANY FREEPERS OVER NEAR OR IN FORT WALTON BEACH? They could call him.
See 1853. We need some prayer warriors to contact this Pastor. Need to see if he has an email address, etc. If someone has a minute to google him, I'd sure appreciate it. (not tryin' to be bossy - we need everyone's help because the organized chaos we have here at FR is working for Terri and good for her! thanks, FV)

In our view: Blurring the line on right to die
1/29/05
The U.S. Supreme Courts decision not to take up the Florida right-to-die battle involving the husband and parents of a brain-damaged woman was a reminder of an earlier courts decision in the Nancy Cruzan case and Circuit Judge Charles E. Teels courageous ruling in 1990. Judge Teel, who died a few weeks ago, opened the door for the advent of living wills and personal directives that allow patients to reject extraordinary medical treatment to preserve life after brain function ceases and hope is gone.
In declining to hear the narrowly defined case of Terri Schiavo, who suffered brain damage at the age of 24 after her heart stopped beating in 1993 because of an eating disorder, the Supreme Court has allowed the removal of Schiavos life-sustaining tubes. The parents of the girl hoped the court would prevent that action. The husband contends that his wife would not have wanted to live in her current condition but has provided no evidence.
The Schiavo and the Cruzan cases are not the same. Both have as the central issue the right of an ill or injured individual, perceived to be permanently brain damaged, to have someone in place to order the removal of life-sustaining technology.
Teel saw his original decision in favor of removing the feeding and hydration tubes of Nancy Cruzan appealed to the Missouri Supreme Court and the U.S. Supreme Court. The high court, in essence, found that convincing proof was necessary to show that Nancy Cruzan would not have wanted to have her body kept alive indefinitely. Such testimony came in 1990 and Judge Teel ruled that Nancys parents could order the life-support tubes withdrawn. She died in December of that year.
In the Schiavo case, there appears no way to fathom Terris wishes and there are strong competing interests: her parents versus the husband. Although the case is supposed to apply only to Terri Schiavo, the courts refusal to hear the appeal may be viewed as discarding or discounting the idea of requiring clear and compelling evidence. It may preview how the justices will approach an upcoming hearing on Oregons right-to-die law.
The Cruzan case set a standard for determining an individuals right to control prolonged medical treatment through living wills and personal directives and, absent those, through compelling evidence of what the patient would have wanted. By its inaction, the U.S. Supreme Court may be blurring that line.

Some thoughts on Terri Schiavo: Are the truths we once held to be self-evident no longer even relevant?

That's where I got the information from. It's pretty scary to see all the connections. George Soros almost scares me. I think he'd like to have world domination of his ideas, much like Hitler. We cannot allow him to succeed here.
LOL! I wonder which it is!
