Wood found on Mars? Not Photoshoped - off the nasa website.
Nasa.gov ^

Posted on 12/27/2004 8:38:41 PM PST by Next_Time_NJ

now im not a betting man, but i know landrovers and there space caps are not made of wood. This clearly looks like a wooden plank to me. Unless someone hacked Nasa.gov's website and put up a photoshop'ed photo, this looks kinda odd.

Question; does this fall under the "Bat-boy" stories that I read about?

May be Flash Gorden Rocket flew to close to mars and the fireman threw out some fuel wood.

"Question; does this fall under the "Bat-boy" stories that I read about?"

hmmm - not my intention because I'm not sure of your reference. Are you referring to the poster Bat-boy whose account is currently banned? If so, I don't recall any specific posts about his activities or why he was banned.

I don't think Buffalo Head is the same poster. Buff has been around since '99. He just gets a little cranky from time to time and we have to tell him to go take an ex-lax, heheh.

If you are referring to a particular thread or argument, then I must have missed it, or it wasn't high enough on my radar to remember it. I apologize for not being able to give you a better answer regarding your reference because 'It's a Mystery to Me' (arcane reference to an old Columbo board game).

"Some of you are not taking this series!"

This is HUGH!  -  Really!

    ODE to Buffalo Head

We all must maintain decorum
and series posts in this Forum
it ain't polite to keep your score-em
hence this comedy post moratorium

Posts must be Prim & Proper
ban anyone who tells a whopper
don't try to post a topper
Buffalo Head will stick in a stopper

Do not post the inane
you will called insane
of Fr, you'll be the bane
Buffalo Head will give you the cane

He will chastise you by FReepMail
he will shame you by snail mail
he doesn't care if you're male or female
he just wants your humor to fail

For those smitten by Buffalo Head
no humor in any thread
or to the sharks you will be fed
laughing's forbidden, 'nuff said

For your amusement, 506trooper:  taglines-R-us

If you turn it upside down and use a dial-up connection you can see the Virgin Mary.

Tracks of rover show that it ran over it. Perhaps petrified or prehaps just floated across the sea. The ground looks saturated with water. May bubble up large scale during high tidal periods with Mar's two moons. John

The Martian moons are tiny.
