G-D? Do you mean GOD??? If so, spell it out please.
Please take into consideration that Jews don't spell that word out of respect.
It's against some folks' religion to spell it out.
There are several FReepers on this site that spelling the name "GOD" is sacrilegious in this type of forum. These faiths range from Hasidic Jews to Ultra-conservative Christian.
In deference to their beliefs, many other FReepers use "G-D" in reference to GOD.
Hope this helps!

Some people (Jews and some Christians) believe that God's name is so HOLY that it should NEVER be spelled out as respect to THE ALMIGHTY.
Some people hold the name of God in such reverence that it would be a violation of their convictions to spell it out. You should not take offence as it is a sign of respect and nothing else.
I have seen many Jews use that notation.
I have asked and been told because people are not supposed to use the full name of God.
Some sects, both Jewish and Christian, think it improper to write or say "GOD", so they leave out the vowel, so that the reader will still know what they mean, but they won't be offending "G-D".
It's a form of reverance. Chill.
You need to be slapped up side of the head...ignorant Christian...SHHEESSH!
Othodox Jews do not write out the name of the Lord, they write it as G-d.
