I can't remember chapter and verse, to my shame, but it is in Isa. "The earth shall reel to and fro on it's axis, like a drunkard. It shall depart like a cottage".

Due to this recent disaster we have lost 2 miliseconds from each 24 hour period. That is only the beginning. God must shorten the days lest the power given to the sun to scorch the followers of the Beast will not survive, no life would survive.

The new bulge at the equator is a newly discovered phenomena and scientist can only speculate as to it's cause and the effects it will have on ocean movement and height. They predict a rise in the ocean, and heavy tidal movement.

The scriptures say the oceans will roar and men's hearts shall fail them for fear of what they see coming upon the earth. Then for what ever event the ocean goes flat. The red tides were the beginning of sorrows when God says the ocean will turn red and as watery as a dead mans blood, which describes the strange algae that is hitting one area after another then vanishing. The red tide almost wiped out the fishing industry in Galveston a few years back.

This is the end times we will see some very impressive events, if we survive them.

Very well said, imho.

Asked a very spiritually sensitive person at church today if she thought the heavy duty quakes in the current traumatized area were over. She said, definitely not. I still feel the same way, too.

Am keenly interested in the bulge. Haven't tracked down a link, yet.

Blessings in the New Year.

I found this article (with terrible spelling) with Google News search:

Volcanoes Barren-1 and Narcondum erupt in Andaman - Seismic disturbance can cause more Tsunami

Andaman's active volcanos Barren-1 and Narcondam have started erupting. The chain of islands in Andaman and Nicobar are facing tremor, aftershocks and volcanoes. Severe seismic activities are seen in these islands. Some of Indian Army personnel who have reached these remote areas are facing shattering earth vibrations and high waves.

Some scientists are predicting severe earthquake again in the North of Andaman Nicobar Islands. The effect can be severe on Mayanmar, Andaman, India's east coast, Bangladesh and Sumatra.

Andaman's tribals strangely are uneffected as most of them somehow went higher ground before the Tsunami. So did the animals.

According to some Indian Air Force chopper pilots, some people among the tribes sensed the devastation way before. They even moved their belongings and makeshift home in grounds where waves could not effect.

Do you have a reference for this?

Unbelievable. How many lives could have been saved if the info simply got to the poor people who were in harms way....!

It's been in numerous newspaper articles all weak.

Here is a reference in NJ's local paper:

Literally earth-shaking, Tsunami quake shifted the North Pole, moved Newark, NJ, 1/2 inch

Calculations performed by Richard Gross of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California show that the quake sped up the rotation of the Earth and enlarged its wobble, causing the length of a day to shrink permanently by 3 millionths of a second. It also moved the North Pole 1 inch, he found.

Thanks for the ping.

It is so sad thinking of the lives that could have been saved.

It's been in numerous newspaper articles all week.

According to the following link, it is not true (yet). Looks like the jury is still out and will take more time to say if it happened or not.

http://www.newsday.com/news/health/ny-hsrang284098009dec28,0,5718787.story?coll=ny-health-headlines

Major earthquakes can change the rate of Earth's rotation, scientists said yesterday, but it's not yet clear if the 9.0 quake actually did so - and, if so, by how much.

If the rotation rate was changed, it was by less than three microseconds, said gravity expert Richard Gross of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif. A microsecond is one millionth of a second.

"We won't know for weeks," said geophysicist Thomas Herring of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. "The most accurate measurements will take about three weeks to get all of the data processed. So it's a guess, as of now."

I thought a 7.1 scrolled off. But I haven't checked my list in my email program . . .

Ahhh. There WAS 7.3 on the 26 Dec.

The red tides were the beginning of sorrows when God says the ocean will turn red and as watery as a dead mans blood

You just reminded me of something. Here's another way the ocean can turn red:

Kauai is famous for its red dirt. With the heavy rains and flooding, much of this red dirt (adamah, as it were) was dumped into the ocean. The surf was strangely red on New Year's.

Floods close roads on Hawaiian island of Kauai

By Jan Ten Bruggencate and Suzanne Roig, Honolulu Advertiser

NAWILIWILI, Hawaii — An island-wide New Year's Day downpour on Kauai caused flooding in every island community, closing roads, causing landslides, backing up cesspools and rendering many parts of the island impassable.

Flooded areas in Waimea, on the island of Kauai, Hawaii, on Saturday.
