John F. Kerry has indicated through sources close to the Democrat party that he intends file papers supporting the Green Party/Libertarian Party recount effort in Ohio.
Kerry's filings will consist of a request for expedited discovery as it pertains to a voting machine system known as Triad Systems, and secondly, a motion for a preservation order to preserve evidence in the same matter. These filings are to be made in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
Rep. John Conyer of Michigan and the ranking minority member of the House Judiciary Committee, has plans to ask the Federal Bureau of Investigation and a county prosecutor in Ohio today to explore "inappropriate and likely illegal election tampering" in at least one and perhaps several Ohio counties.
This follows the delivery of a sworn affidavit provided by the Hocking County deputy director of elections, Sherole Eaton, in which she alleges that a representative of Triad Governmental Systems, the Ohio firm that created and maintains the vote-counting software in dozens of Ohio counties, made several adjustments to the Hocking County tabulator last Friday, in advance of the state's recount, which is taking place this week.

John Freakin' Kerry intends to fuel the Konspiracy Krazoids at the bare minimum, or to AlGore this thing (which would be the best case scenario, to my mind) :o)
It's all a bunch of nonsense. Kerry has nothing to lose by taking this action. His base is still smarting over the spanking they took on Election Day. And they are still deluded in thinking they can pull this out somehow even though President Bush has decorated his Christmas tree and is prepared to be sworn in to his second term just four weeks from today.
We can only hope that they make Ohio a Florida or try to go ape. Is there some liberal Federal Judge out there willing to be all they can be and rule for Kerry? Please, please, please turn Ohio into Florida. It would mean Republican SUPER majorities for years to come.

This is just an inquiry. Kerry is basically having his surrogates throw his name into the pot so he doesn't look like too much of a lame duck.
Yet the desperate ones at the DU will see this as the second coming.
I would literally contribute money to John Freakin' Kerry for a constitutional challenge of the 2004 election. :o)
A primary message that emerged from the book "Unfit for Command" was Kerry's close association with the communist party and his ties with international communists who he had to know wanted/s no less that the destruction of our system of government. I don't think he's stupid at all. He knows he has lost the election, but he has always had another underlying goal. He's at it again. The man is more dangerous than we realize.

Yeah, I am kind of scared. I remember when the Democrats used the big 2000 fiasco down in Florida to get the voters to vote Jeb Bush out of office. And they even defeated Katherine Harris in her attempt to win a Congressional seat. And voters were still angry, and they voted Kerry into office. The Dems know how to make these conspiracies pay off...
