Holiday Music is now playing in the Canteen! You will notice that we will have dark green colored boxes with a name of a song! We have given you 4 or 5 versions of that particular song. You will find the other versions below the name! Next Saturday we'll have even more for you to enjoy!! So? Get ready for our Musical Christmas Celebration next Saturday. Merry Christmas to all of those that celebrate! Happy Holidays for those of you just enjoying another December day.

I hope you don;t mind me joining this conversation....
I will tell, you that prejudice of any kind, is hurtful..period.
I am an Acadian..that makes me French...
I was born in Maine, that makes me a "Yankee"..
All of my childhood was spent coming home in tears from school, because we were "dirty, stinking; stupid; French kids..according to our classmates, AND their parents...
I actually heard one parent say. that I wasn't "Good enough, or well bred enough" to come over a little girls house that had invited me for supper..

When I grew up, I learned to fight back and stand my ground..my only regret through all of that, was that it made me ashamed of my heritage back then...

Now that my Grandparents are gone, my mother too, I would give just about anything, to have the house filled with love, laughter, and the French language I was raised with..

I was taught to be a Lady, and to behave like one, and I always have...but all that rejection and feelings of inferiority followed me into adult hood...
So much hurt and damage for nothing...

To see it here, grieves me a great deal...
You are all so Dear to me...
I don't care where you're from...
