Holiday Music is now playing in the Canteen! You will notice that we will have dark green colored boxes with a name of a song! We have given you 4 or 5 versions of that particular song. You will find the other versions below the name! Next Saturday we'll have even more for you to enjoy!! So? Get ready for our Musical Christmas Celebration next Saturday. Merry Christmas to all of those that celebrate! Happy Holidays for those of you just enjoying another December day.

No offense, but as a Yankee living in the South..I've put up with many of the same issues towards Yankees.
I've actually had people tell me: "Thank God you were born in South Carolina. God must have thought highly of you".
My reply "God thought highly of me anyways. Thank God you aren't Him."
The bias goes both ways.
It's only easier to see it from one person's perspective. Walk a mile in someone else's  shoes is what my Dad always says.
It's easier said than done.

The hotel has a shuttle. Or I take a cab from work to the hotel. Cab rides usually cost $2.00 anywhere around the base and downtown. Plus, I am doing alot of walking.

My dearly departed aunt, Marie Singley was a resident of North Charleston since the 1936.

In 1997 Aunt Marie was named North Charleston Citizen of the Year. Our whole family from the Piedmont and the Mountain regions of the state traversed the interstates to see the Mayor's Presentation at City Council Meeting. Oh, it was a huge affair/shin-dig!

It's so nice to remember her at Christmas time!
Marie Singley was a class act.
