Inaugural Countdown: Only five weeks to the Inaugural Ball! Get your tickets now!!
Only five more weeks to Inauguration Day. You won't want to miss the excitement and pageantry. The dinners, the Inauguration itself, the parades, the balls, great fun, great fellowship and great memories to last a lifetime!
FReepers arriving at the 2001 "Count the Silverware" Ball
Having a ball at the FReeper Ball! Wish you were here!
Bob Barr and Gary Aldrich say howdy and thanks!
Gov Huckabee and "Dubya" wow the FReepers!
FReeping at the Ball!
Gov Huckabee and Capitol Offense perform their magic!
And the FReepers swing into action!
Requiem for Truth and the Mr!
Basil and Mr Basil!
Just be there, baby!

And less than two weeks left to get your early bird reduced price tickets to the Free Republic W2 Inaugural Ball featuring Gov. Huckabee and Capitol Offense.
About half of those who signed up to get their tickets at the $175 price have submitted their orders. Order your tickets now before the price goes up to $200 after December 26. We want to make sure that everyone who requested tickets has a chance to attend the ball at the initial reduced price.
We're posting this message as a reminder before folks start their Christmas travels next week. BTW, W2 Inaugural Ball tickets make great stocking stuffers for the conservatives in your family!
Hope to see you at the Ball!!
Thank you very much,
Jim Robinson, Kristinn and the W2 Inaugural Ball Committee
P.S. This event is not a fundraiser for FR. It's priced to (hopefully) at least break even.
P.P.S. If you can't go to the ball, but would like to help someone else get there, please donate to our ticket discount fund and or to our general ball fund. Donations are being accepted to help cover the costs of inviting honored guests such as wounded members of our armed forces recuperating at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Bethesda Naval Hospital. We've already received enough in donations to get at least four or five soldiers and guests to the ball and to offer discounts to several others. We'd like to invite as many as we possibly can.

We'd manage to have a blast somehow ...Mayor Tony Williams and a bunch of DC kids had a blast this morning. If these images load, you will be seeing the end of the old DC Convention Center...

I gave up too much of the inner lining of my stomach the last year not to come. The power bill might not get paid, but I will be there.
Last time I was in DC was for the March for Justice...now THAT was a gas...
God bless Free Republic and George W. Bush.
Let's Par-tay!

Somebody's always threatening something.
But little dogs like to yap alot.
We have a lot to celebrate and this is going to be one memorable party/Ball!
Everyone who is going to all the inaugural events, especially the Free Republic W2 Ball (of course), need to take lots of photos to share with friends on FR who aren't able to attend.
To: missanne
We are so fortunate to have Governor Huckabee and Capitol Offense play for our ball again this year. They hit a homerun in '01, and we in DC could use another homerun, after what the DC city Council did to our chances of getting a baseball team back in the city.
:-(

I'm waiting to hear the hue and cry from the hand-wringing liberals, because of the mayor using those innocent kiddies to do something so violent as to blow up a building.
I'm sure the kids thought it was way cool, though.
:-)
To: Keith
I understand your feelings. I'm working way too much overtime - so that I could be sure my daughter and her best friend could come to the ball. That's their Christmas/early graduation present all wrapped up in one big package.
See you at the Ball!
To: Steve0113; nina0113
See you guys at the Ball!
To: tgslTakoma
Mommie, guess what? I blew up a building today.
That's nice. Go wash your hands for dinner.
I wish I had a hundred bucks for every time I heard that reply from my mother.
