Remember that left-wing egghead at Claremont McKenna College who vandalized her own car and then cried "hate crime"? Today she got sentenced to a year in the slammer.
Kerri Dunn, who is, naturally, a professor of psychology, falsely claimed that her Honda was spray-painted with racist and anti-Semitic slurs. She had faced up to three years in a California prison for filing a false police report and two felony counts of attempted insurance fraud.
Get this: Miss Dunn staged the criminal hoax and launched a headline-grabbing spree of "hate crime" hysteria (as opposed to all those "love crimes" being committed out there) while speaking at a campus forum on ... racial tolerance. She'll learn more about that than she bargained for when she's sent up the river.
Has it been established she's a lesbian?

You're right. Calling it a FR policy is going to far. It does seem to be a popular opinion of many posters on threads relating to prison and punishment. I've yet to see a "Wait 'till his new cellmate Bubba tells him he has a purty mouth" post get pulled. Have you?
She should lose tenure and be fired.

thats the joy of free speech.. if you don't like it don't read it... ignore... be adult about it... don't make it a supreme court issue.
If you want people to stop posting those comments you are in essance asking them to give up their free speech rights...
further more it is only opinion. You are not arbitor of what is written on this board if it offends leave or get a mod.. don't give people the holier then though guilt routine...it doesn't work and annoys people..
But we should keep an eye out to see if she does pick up a professorship down the road.

Remember that episode of Seinfeld where Jerry suspected that his dentist converted to Judaism just so he could be free to tell Catholic and Jewish jokes? It sounds like this Dunn chick converted just so she could scream "hate crimes" as both a Catholic and a Jew.
Given that verdict, I'd say she's totally forked.

In my opinion advocating the rape of prisoners doesn't meet the definition of justice as praciced inthe United States. Most of the folks posting rape-related comments probably don't believe it, either. They're joking, most likely. Those few who really do mean it should rethink their ideas of how the US penal system should work.
All IMO, of course. If the mods don't care to pull the "funny prison rape" posts, I'll have no choice but to overlook them.
By the way, aren't you curtailing my free speech rights by asking me not to express an opinion on the subject?
