A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

Thank you MEG. I'm glad you enjoyed it so much.
I've been wearing reading glasses for over 10 years now. Couldn't do any of this without them.

Just a quick update to let you all know my sister is scheduled to have surgery at 7:30 in the morning. I know you all are praying for us and your prayers are greatly appreciated. I'm off to the hospital now. Some have asked and I don't mind sharing, her name is Betty.

I was using "store bought ones" and finally decided it was time to go for the real thing..I have one eye that's doing all the work and it needs some balanced prescription help!
My daughter has been after me to go as I have not had an eye check up in years and years...(decades?)

It's a bit nippy here in FL, too. We didn't get out of the sixties today and the wind was fierce!
Merry and Blessed Christmas to you and yours.

Prayers for Betty. Dear Lord, please continue to guide the hands of Betty's surgeons. Allow her a full recovery if it be Thy will. Grant courage and strength to Betty and her family while she endures her ordeal. We ask these favors as Your humble and contrite servants in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

It must be an unusual song...It's on the Word Music label and very little of their stuff is available on-line. Thanks for looking, though.

Uh-oh, seems like somebody else I know has complained about the Windows 98 graphics looking fuzzy on Windows XP. Know anything about that, Louiewolf? :)
Let's not go there. LOL
Warm cookies fresh from the oven and milk for you, sweet wolfie. :)
Thank you, darlin' Billie, they look very tasty! Er.....just two? : )

Sounds like you even managed to get Louie to howl on key up there in the tenor section. LOL Hey, Aqua can get Louie to howl any time - any place. Not always on key though. : )
Oh, Oh. Looks like someone in the orchestra is about to wake up Mama Bear...
ROTFL!! Where do you get these great graphics?
Never mind, Louie would just steal them. : )
